First off, an update... I haven't been active here, I apologize but real life got in the way, I got more responsibilities, health issues, and defected hardware all lead to my decision to retire from art... or at least taking an open-ended hiatus... save for a couple of sketches/doodles here and there.
Anyway...
Two days ago something happened to put me in depression... I was in EMZ's discord server, being a big fan of Amy, but ever since I joined I was harassed multiple times, honestly hanging out with teens these days is very toxic, I was made fun of on account of being old and a foreigner, how dare I not know these obscure old western pop culture? I must be lying, I speak English fluently, surely I'm being dishonest, if I was truly old I MUST know these stuff, you're turning 40? Why are you in a public Sonic discord server? You're probably a pedo.
However, the part that really upset me was when I shared some of my sfw art there and I was accused of "stealing" my own art, they linked to a ms pain recolor of this and accused me of stealing their art despite my "finished" image was clearly more polished and detailed and theirs was a ms paint bucket tool of my outline without credit, I provided evidence but they continued to disregard and throw baseless accusations, things escalated and I rage left.
I fucked up... back in the day I made the "poor" decision not to watermark my art, I never cared for publicity, never cared for fame or competition, I just made art out of passion and I wanted to share with the world, not lock my art behind patreon or ruin it with watermark, I often provided the outline for anyone to enjoy to color so long they give me credit... I was a moron... 😢
It's sad because I like line-art for its clean simplicity and for something to colour in. It's just unfortunate you have to hide your signatures and timestamps in a way that proves it's yours and hopefully in a way that a) cannot be easily removed, b) cannot be claimed to be forged, and c) doesn't ruin the image. I would beg you to not stop, but unfortunately there are always some people, old and young, who think they know better.

I've been hearing of what's been going on from my friend groups on Discord and even in my own Discord server, and it's horrible to see things like this happen.
