An artist friend of mine I met on F-list took me under her wing as my mentor, teaching me her tricks and techniques. As someone who spent his whole life trying to brute-force art because I didn't know a better way, this was a godsend.
She'd set up a Discord server where I'd watch her stream art and learn from her. I'd share my pieces with her and get advice and feedback. It was amazing learning from someone who was cool with the kind of content I wanted to create, and that I could feel comfortable sharing my work with.
Then, one day, out of the blue, the Discord server vanished, she's blocked me from her Discord profile, and she deleted her F-list profile. I don't know what happened, but I can only guess that something scared her, or she thought these interests might get traced back to her real life.
Needless to say, it hurt losing someone like her. I'm worried over if she is safe, and lament losing a teacher and friend.
