Tag Update (LORE DROP)

Hey guys! Just wanna give a quick update, I have learned through Twitter that Matt Herms has released details concerning Sonic Universe #95!

Turns out "Cortez the Vagabond" is officially known as Inigo Cortez! He still seems to go by his last name, at least by how the wiki has been updated. So as far as descriptions, those won't change much. But to keep with the new lore, his tag has been changed to inigo_cortez on all my uploads.

Just as well, he's officially part of the Egg Army, as the Blademaster for Mordred Hood. Which means my piece of him with Eggman makes even more sense~

Where did you hear this? I'm searching Matt Herms' Twitter, and can't find anything about it.

I would like to know how the story would've played out, and how different it is to the version that was ultimately fan-finished and absorbed into Archie Sonic Online.

It doesn't look like it came from Matt Herms directly, but rather he's had the issue on his Patreon, and it leaked! The wiki has even been updated with all the information that came out of this. I don't know if this was done maliciously or not, but supposedly THIS is the version with the true script https://imgur.com/a/wmteXuc

Yeah, I've read the fan-version! That's what drew me to him in the first place. And it's to be expected, they had literally nothing to go off of. No notes, no discussions from authors, just purely the sketches.

Though this does make me wonder, how many of the other comics that were in the works before they were canceled were as finished as this was?
