On a second note, I used to not care too much about AI and I was ignorant and for that I do apologize, especially to people I may have disputed with on this topic who had genuine fears and disdain toward AI. But I have always retained that artists deserve to feel safe about their art and have seen the real, negative affect allowing AI can cause to artists and their livelihoods. My main concern when it comes to art sites will always be the safety and well-being of artists and, among other things, AI and its constant advancement is a detriment to that well-being. So for that, I am stating that AI's acceptance and ability to grow on this site is another reason I will be diminishing my presence.
With all of this said, there is one thing that I realized after talking to a dear friend allowed me to cool my emotions... There are many artists that I commission and love to talk to that either use IB as their main site or, due to the content they draw, have it as their only site. There is nothing more important to me in the furry community than artists and them being able to make a living doing what they love, and getting your art out there is one of the best ways artists can do this. I may be a small fish but I can still help with this by sharing their arts on my pages and, while I may have some big disagreements, I don't want my thoughts to punish artists who haven't done anything wrong and, with that, while I still will reduce my presence here, I will still post commissions (or gifts) I receive from artists who either have a large presence on IB or call this their home.
