I love Inkbunny! How would you improve it?

Inkbunny is my favorite website, truly.

It's the one furry art gallery site where I feel fully safe to be myself, without having to worry about getting banned. I'm an ex-nazifur and I'm permanently banned from all the other furry art sites due to past off-site activity, even though I have disavowed previous conduct several years ago. Most of the furry subculture has very little tolerance for people with autism that engage in antisocial behavior through their 20s due to slower social development; everyone "should know better" by then you see, so it's fine for them to never get an opportunity to learn and grow as a person. But Inkbunny isn't like that, and it's allowed me the opportunity to walk back those mistakes and have a proper home online for my artwork. Many people complain about IB enabling far-right people, but it's more complicated than that. People need space to change over time. I'll always be grateful to Inkbunny for giving me the space I needed to change in that way.

I also appreciate that Inkbunny allows *all* furry art pretty much; furries have a very disingenuous relationship with their sexuality on average and tend to despise cub, even though a very large portion of furry porn they consume plays heavily with a lack of consent (see: forcefeeding, outright rape, hypnosis, transformation etc). You won't find that hypocrisy here. This lack of content censorship also tends to filter out clout-obsessed people that like to control things; that crowd sees it as unbecoming to one's character to even have an account here, and I think that's a good thing. It makes the site a lot more like the furry fandom I knew when I joined up 20 years ago. No gatekeeping, no constant callouts, etc. Just people enjoying a hobby. It's awesome.

It's also one of the most capable sites in terms of software. We're only now seeing FurAffinity begin to gain some of the functionality that Inkbunny has had for decades (tags, username changes). Still, it's not perfect. I'll always use it either way, but here's some stuff I'd do to modernize the site:

• There's a lot of older assets (mostly icons) that would look better and be smaller in filesize if they were replaced with .svg versions.
• A responsive design for mobile would make the site easier to navigate, though I hope this can be done while keeping the fun style of the navigation intact.
• There should be an option for images with blocked tags to be removed entirely from view instead of simply having their thumbnails hidden. This exists.
• Profile links could do with a major overhaul. Not just in terms of .svg icons but also the variety. The easiest way to do this would be to increase the available icons by a small amount, but then also allow custom icons to be uploaded with full control over where exactly the URLs point to.
• In-line image uploads that aren't connected to submissions could do a lot in terms of more immersive journals and stories on here.

Do you agree with these? How would you improve this amazing website?

sometimes filters out the clout-chasin' hoes but not always >.>'

people have been asking for mobile since i joined this place :v

and i do agree the uploading of submissions is a little less than smooth, but it has gotten better over time.

but i think overall this site and community has gotten worse and less inviting. i am not remotely as active as i once was for one reason or another.

as for how to improve? sorry im drawin' a blank here

There was that recent browbeating over Green's well-documented view on pronouns that was disingenuously paraded around as "transphobia"--that was a bit weird. I watched people on Bluesky attempt to circulate that whole thing as a viral callout, and 90% of the response was "Ew, why were you on that pedo site?" which was kind of funny. The social grift didn't work. ~10 less annoying users later, Inkbunny is still Inkbunny.

You never hurt anyone, right?

I am Christian, which was more than enough to ban, slander and "cancel" me in late 2021.  The word "Nasi" in Hebrew means "prince" or "president."  Hebrew reads right to left, German and English read left to right.  S mirrored is Z.  The "Nasi" was of the Sanhedrin, which was the Second Temple courts.  After Jesus Christ was crucified, it was less than 100 years before the Second Temple was destroyed.  The entire big issue in Jerusalem is the Dome on the Rock is where they want to sacrifice the red cow and build their Third Temple, but now they're doing it on the City of David.

The King James Version Bible was released in 1611, but was replaced with the "New International Version" for "political correctness."  The New World was discovered, and America established, by those reading the KJV.

All of this "Nazi/Nasi" stuff is a religious argument.

There's an allegation that I did, but I didn't actually. It's frequently cited by people that have either a problem with my politics, kinks, or both.

This happened because one nazifur was really mad when he found out that I, an admin of the nazifur discord of the time, was ABDL. He was very adamant about removing "degenerates" like me from his "pure, aryan" furry movement. Enough to get a minor to flirt with me while lying to me about how old he was (just to cancel me with a disingenuous narrative). He encouraged this kid to approach multiple ABDL sexually while misrepresenting his age. In exchange, the kid would get to become a part of his "elite trolling group". It was really creepy. The guy was obviously a closeted pedophile projecting onto babyfurs. I wound up talking to his mother about it (he's a NEET on welfare) and the guy's internet access went away after that from what I can tell.

As for religion I'm very much secular and don't care for it at all. That said, I respect peoples' right to practice their faith because that's just a normal and kind thing to do.

Either I'm more normie than I thought or I truly live under a rock but what is NEET?

Also for what it is worth I never saw you as a Nazifur. There were a lot of lost souls in Altfurry that very clearly never had any Nazi characteristics. Many ended up just being used and cast aside. Many more were also just clout chasers. I'm fairly certain I know exactly whom you refer to as well.

It stands for "Not in Employment, Education, or Training". These people are generally on welfare as this guy is. Most of my detractors fall into this category. It's hard be offline enough to work full time and still be so terminally online that you can get riled up by a rubber edgelord in a diaper.

I see. Then I suppose I currently would be within said definition as I work on losing weight and improving my health. Also debating on what kind of education/training I should do next. Schoolbus or Javascript... I think I'd be way better off with Javascript but I could get into schoolbus in less than a month and likely get paid for it within the same month. Only issue is making $22 an hour with 25 hour weeks wouldn't go very far here. Perhaps I should first focus on competency with Javascript and then do the schoolbus driving once I have that and can done small remote jobs or something to build up a portfolio. Choices, choices. Yet I need to lose at least 50 pounds before I can return to work. My body as it stands simply cannot handle a rough ride sitting most of the time anymore.

This is already implemented.

Get another fella that isn't GR to run the site.

Without GR there would be no Inkbunny. And with someone else at the helm, it very quickly wouldn't be IB anymore. You need someone center-leaning that values artistic expression first and foremost (but is also extensively talented at coding and running a server) to have a place like this. The community is extremely lucky to have GR. His opinion on what gender is, is fairly unpopular within furry but it's hardly an uncommon take in the world at large.

To me, when ideological compliance on something like gender is required by someone to percieve someone else as a decent human being, it's clear that the person values ideological compliance above other things, such as artistic expression. It's a very consumerist attitude towards social interaction that hyperfixates on the negative instead of seeing the positive; it also treats people as disposable should they fail to be exactly who you want them to be. Very gross imo.

TBH, FurAffinity is a great website for people where ideological compliance is the thing that they value the most. There's always some new thing to call out and exclude over there. But that's not exactly combatible with us ABDL/cub folks, is it? We *need* a space that cares more about expression than compliance with one's worldview, for our niche is just as "unacceptable" as something like using the traditional definition of gender in 2025 to the average "normie" furry. We need this place, IMO.

Ideally, the best option would be Starling, the original owner. But... I don't think he wants to.
