A week and some change in from my sabbatical from the furry community and yet here I find myself posting another journal and not a good one.
As promised I still plan to upload a few more works to this site and ONLY this site b4 I completely drop off the face of the furry Earth as previously planned so I can create/develope and raise a family. As previously stated the reason I'm taking a step back from the community is because I don't feel seen or valued at least enough/to the point where someone sees me as worthy of having and/or raising a child. And I want children to move on to the next generation despite the level of/gravity of the world right now (yes I watch the news, thanks Trump :/)
However I come with a plea to save InkBunny because I fear if I ever do come back this site will die. Can't be more blunt than that. Starling for those who remember is the founding father/mother/they-them who created InkBunny because of how FA was treating baby furs. After 2.5 to 3 years of service they'd give up this role in or around 2014 or 2015 to Green Reaper who at least for the most part ran the site just fine at first. But clearly after the last few months to calender year with all the A.I. stuff and back tracking Ink Bunny is no longer the site we once new and I must decree that a regime change is well over due.
Will it happen? I'm not staff so probably not, but if the leaders of this site want their fan base back we need new leadership to save IB because the current administration has taken a HUGE backseat to the complaints I've been seeing across my feed. Yes i don't have to be an active member to still read the droves of people leaving the site. So yeah hopefully things get better but from how Dragoneer (r.i.p) ran FurAffinity I fear Ink Bunny is following the exact same pattern just in a different way
