Just wanted to come on here and post to say I'm still alive and trying to get back into writing. This last winter has been the most stressful than any other I have lived through. Started off the week of Christmas being sick, then had dental issues, part of which sent me to the ER from complications from an operation which led to another operation all while getting sick again... as of this writing, I am finally starting to actually feel 'normal' again, but the aches and pains from the cold and from work continue to plague me on a daily basis.
During my relaxing times at home after work trying to stay out of the winter harshness, I found myself delving back into classic games of my youth, particularly my favorite JRPG of all time, Final Fantasy 9. I played through the game three times this winter to enjoy the characters, story and music that I have known to love and have even played an HD version of it on my Steam account with the Moguri mod and have been quite impressed with it. It has also inspired me to write a couple stories (the first of which will be posted after I post this journal) to get me back into the writing rhythm to try and prepare my return for Miyu's Love.
I did have the ideas behind a Star Fox Christmas story that I wanted to post around that time, however with some of the content within it, this last winter would prove to be a bad time to post it, so I am going to try to shoot for this coming winter for that. As it sits right now with Miyu's Love, I still have several chapters to write. I currently have a document of notes 7 pages long with paragraphs of ideas that would each equivalate to an entire chapter in the story, so there is MUCH more to come. It'll likely not come out with the speed as it all did when I first started posting a couple years ago, but progress with it I will.
With all the stresses that seem to be apparent in the last half year everywhere in the world and online, I figured I'd try to put something out there around now to try and bolster some positive spirits for everyone if I can. I should have the second story from the FF9 universe to come out in the next few days as well.
