I can't lie, I've been uncomfortable posting here in the first place, and only did since feeling backed against a wall from all the shitshow on FA last year (I don't fully trust FA either, it's gonna take quite a while before I feel any real trust about them again).
I understand the complexity of being able to find any platform that fully allows someone to post anything they want. That in mind, existing alongside a lot of blatant cub porn shit and allowing AI on an art gallery like this has made me already very uncomfortable (and yes, I am aware that discussion of AI generated image stuff is a complex and nuanced topic; it's still not great optics allowing any of it on an art gallery site when so many of us rely on artwork as our only form of income).
All of that in mind, "the owner makes a bunch of transphobic statements" is just the last straw for me. I'm out.
I'm not making any moral judgment on whether others do or don't, I don't care. Every platform these days is a fucking mess in one way or another, assholes own and operate so many of them. Do and use whatever feels comfortable and most useful for you, I intend to do the same. I'm just done with this particular one.
The account itself will be left blank here, if things ever change with the management, but I'm no longer posting here and removing everything I have posted. Pretty much all of it has been posted elsewhere or I have backups of it anyway.
