It has come to my attention that the owner of this website, GreenReaper, is a racist, anti-trans piece of garbage, via this evidence I recently received from a friend:
I probably shouldn't be surprised given the certain types of content they allow on here anyway and the recent pro-AI art controversy, but none of that makes this person any less deplorable and disgusting.
Therefore, I won't delete my account for archival reasons, but I will stop posting on this site unless it gets a better owner or otherwise somehow changes for the better.
I'm considering moving back to FA as a result, since they've thankfully replaced their own mods with better people by now, but just in case, I still have plenty of art stored there and on my Deviantart.
I couldn't see any examples of racism in what was posted there, but maybe I missed that part. The main thing I see is that GR feels more factually correct in using pronouns in conjunction with biological sex rather than gender identity. While I understand that this is a very unpopular stance among many groups today, particularily in furry, but I think asserting that this is overt hatred of trans people is disingenuous. There is a big difference in a lack of compliance with one's personal preferences and actually hating someone.
This is more of a philosophical difference of belief in what gender ultimately is. It's a major point of contention between the left and the right today. To the left, gender is *who* you are. To the right, gender is *what* you are. The latter was universal until relatively recently. One side wants this new take on gender to be universal, one side wants the old meaning to stay as it was. It's got nothing to do with hate. Not really. It's like a controversey in language evolution.
In any case, even under new management I'd trust FurAffinity a lot less. They're still overtly hateful towards cub art, and as such me and most of my friends will never have a home there.

It is worth noting that their personal beliefs on whatever have never become policy in this site and that they banned Roareyraccoon, who is anti-trans. Surely, Greenreaper may have beliefs that I don't personally agree with, but I don't think he would turn the site into an anti-trans space because of it, or skew the rules or moderation in that direction.
