Regarding my fursona

I am working on a gift piece for a friend of mine, but after that, I think I may work on my fursona (for once). Ironically, this may be the hardest undertaking I'll have done so far.

I know I want a skunk, but how do I want him to look? Femboy? Sissy? James Bond? Dunno. It's something I'll have to think about for a good while, since it requires a fair bit of self reflection. I do know that I don't want it to be too complicated of a design...

Anyway, I've been watching Animaniacs more recently, so I'm tempted to see what I can learn from it. The main thing so far is the value of simplicity. You don't want to have too complicated of a design, it's harder to put in perspective (and I really don't need further difficulties on that front). Plus, it's much easier to keep consistent (another thing I struggle with).

I know I'm definitely going to be observing animated stuff more intimately now, to see what else I can pick up on!

I'll try. Might draw AM from I Have No Mouth And I Must Scream, since everyone agrees that AM is a bird-like creature for some reason.
