It has been a couple of weeks since I published something. I'm still here and still want to make art, but my motivation has been a bit low as of late. I'm happy with the progress I've made in 14 months, but I'm not happy with my art process right now, so I'm gonna try to change it up. Essentially, I want to go from heavy referenced art (which for the most part, has been what my art has been) to something I can comfortably call my own.
I think for these goals to be achieved, I need to take a step back and be patient, which means more studying, especially character studies.
All in all, my art will come at a slower rate for the time being, but hopefully it'll mean eventually, I'll be able to produce art at a quicker rate. I will be documenting my journey on my Twitter, including posting work from studies I feel doesn't fit Inkbunny (like messy rough sketches and stuff). Thank you for taking the time to read this.
