I usually avoid drama or talking too much about what’s going on with me—after all, we all have our own problems, and I feel like bringing it up can be a bit inconvenient. But I think it’s important to be transparent when I can, so I wanted to give a heads-up to anyone looking to commission me this March.
Recently, there was a violent storm in my city with strong winds that broke roof tiles and knocked down several trees. My own roof was damaged as well. I’m totally fine, but there have been other issues—power outages that lasted a while and still keep happening. I almost lost my GPU because of it and had to go two days without my PC just to track down a short circuit. And that’s just one of the problems.
To be honest, I’m already a slower artist than most, but with everything going on, I just want to make it clear that if you reach out to me this month, I might take a bit longer than usual to respond. I’ll still be keeping commissions open since I need the income, but just a heads-up!
