-- and pick one or two commission ideas from people that have already talked to me about stuff to work on for upcoming queue stuff.
I'm trying to figure out what is going to be a good 'work load' for me, cause I keep trying to jump into just taking on every commission (Lots of talking about stuff with people but not a lot of action on my part so far XD;) because I am very bad at saying no/not right now when theres too many to be able to actually do them all.
Priority will definitely be going to things that have already been paid, which I think is only one or two things? But those I'm currently working on/have finished.
Beyond that, I'll probably be picking which to work on based on... idk? whatever the mood for the moment is. Not feeling up to full pictures, sketches get priority. This one idea has a really cool basis? Definitely going for that one. Character design slaps and I just wanna draw that guy? Heck yea. Not saying the other ideas on the board are bad, but adhd brain is gonna do the thing, and I want to be able to at least get ones that catch my attention right away in the works and finished in a timely manner.
If I accept and talk about a commission idea with you in a positive way, but I don't get to it for a bit, PLEASE feel free to nudge me about it cause I may have 'ooh shiny'd my way around it on accident, or it was a little too much for my plate at the moment or some other stupid thing and I just need a refresher. ESPECIALLY if I've been able to actively work on commission work!
I DO have a day job (maybe 2 in a week or so while I transition away from Joanns and swap gears to the replacement job) so some days I get home and I am full on braindead at that point. Others I get home and I nyoom at art. It's such a stupid toss up anymore than I won't be able to give people proper time estimates UNLESS you tell me you need something by a specific time frame. Then I will do my best, but still no promises, because things is weird.
UNTIL THEN, uh, what is a queue and how do I organize my responsibilities? The world may never know. I just draw porn lmao.
