I'm going to be moving my art to Patreon now

If you havent noticed, Inkbunny staff has hidden all my art because of this AI thing and you all know I dont back down from bullshit so its likely to be hidden from now on. I also cant submit new images as I have been banned from that. They didnt like me saying all my works have been AI this entire time and rather than understand what that meant, they decided to just hide all of it. Photoshop, the hardware and other software I've been using this entire time uses AI to do things like, correct and smooth my lines, clean up unwanted and dead pixels, color correct, add styles with things like filters and other smoothing/blurring tools but since everyone seems to be brain dead and lack critical thinking skills and understand all the AI systems digital artist use, they decided to be petty and block all my work. Yes, even the hand drawn one.

Im done fighting this pointless war with AI. Its here to stay and I will use it to better my works and make them faster. As a homeless person, I simply dont have the time to spend tens of hours on a single picture no one paid me to make. Like always, I make art for fun and when I do sell it, I try to price it very low so those who want to pay me so they can have something nice too.

Im not going to nuke my Inkbunny account or go to war with the staff. They are at least allowing AI art to be posted, which is more forward thinking than other galleries but their staff (or at least some on their staff) dont understand how AI works and are fighting their own unjust battles against those that keep the site active. Inkbunny also has some insane tools that allow artist to better display their works and if not for the cub thing (something I have no issue with, since its in fiction), Inkbunny could be a direct replacement for FurAffinity but this site too is just another place where those who want to fight pointless culture wars instead of standing by their artist.

To the Inkbunny staff:

Im willing to help you write your policy on AI art. Art is for everyone and as an artist of 33 years, I've worked in (as well as professionally) in many mediums, both traditional and digital and have seen all the fights artist have been having. Remember that Photoshop, Photography and 3D works were never seen as art and they are now - these battles because of people of a medium before felt threaten by new mediums. Its as old as time. Games too are now art, digital writings and music as well. You dont need the whole band anymore, because a keyboard (something else Im experienced with as I had one growing up) can do a lot of things.

Please get over your need to control these new artist to please artist that use tech that replaced traditional artist in the work place. AI_Generated and AI_Assisted are the only tags you need. You dont need to know their tools or prompts or anything else like that. Photoshop, just like Novel AI is another paid service that uses hidden models and code.

For Patreon:

https://www.patreon.com/c/thecapedmanlloyd

There is the link. I'll be posting both paid and free works on patreon. Im currently going through my older works and will be re-imagining them with AI as well as creating new works. Im working on perks for paid users and will be starting my community there. I am considering Pixiv Fanbox as well. There are free works there currently and all you need to do is become a member. All legacy works will remain.

Im looking for support now and all tiers are priced very low and act as a get in where you fit in kind of thing. Nothing is hidden behind tiers. All paid support is equal.

Here is my big thing, I am fine with the sites that say no AI as long as they have have that policy consistently handled, likewise if they allow AI it should be consistent, what is not okay in my book is trying to have it both ways because that muddies things up. I wish you the best. I think transparency is my big thing here. Do love that AI can be art stealing at times? No but again that is due to a lack of transparency. I admit to using generative AI for fun because I frankly am not a great drawer, yes I could learn but I only have so much time in a day and I have a job so that takes time as well. Rant over. Thanks for what you do if I have not made that clear.

What do you mean by having it both ways? I want to make sure before I respond.

Saying AI art is fine while also cracking down on it. What did you think I meant by that. Now If there is an additional issue and that is the real issue that is different that what I meant.

I just wanted to know what you meant because I dont agree with the need to force people to post all meta data to validate their status as an artist since digital artist arent required to do it. It feels a lot like "papers please" if you know what I mean. This kind of crackdown on a valid art form feels very Nazi Germany with just how quickly everyone from every level seemed to adopt the mindset of hate towards it simply because some artist who think they are a professional might make less money. It really is the money aspect of it that makes it toxic since it overlooks who the tech will help. Not like we didnt have this issue before so Im tired of it. Im going to move all my works to patreon until the art world chills the fuck out. Lots of witch hunters out there. People are even wishing death on people using it.
