Hello everyone! It has been a while, eh? Nearly ten years now… Holy fuck times does fly. BUT! I am *TRYING* to get back into the grind. And, seeing as I am trying to come back to Inkbunny, you’ll have to excuse me as I try to sell out. Hey, everyone needs to eat!
Anyways, and jokes aside, this journal is here for a reason: To let anyone interested in my stories, and the idea of getting a commission from me, know how this works. Any changes I may implement, they will be here.
As usual with me, this may get wordy.
Also, you can go *HERE* if you want to see the google document if it is easier for you.
Prices: Prices are simple: 0.02€ per word. Or, in rounder numbers. 20€ per 1K words. If you use $ or other currency, tell me and I will make the calculations required to convert the total price. Prices will, of course, be updated as time goes on and things change.
Limit of Commissioners at one time and guidelines: Three is the most I am willing to entertain. Between my own written works and other stuff, most of my stories, since they tend to be damn long, can take a few days or a couple of weeks.
Commissions will be accepted during the first week of the month.
Once Commissioners are selected they’ll be displayed in a journal* to keep track of them and inform everyone interested. *A journal will be created Day 1 of every month if possible. If not, as soon as possible before the 7th and last day. Unless otherwise mentioned during the previous month, assume Commissions are open and a journal will be made.
Commissioners may opt to be marked as ‘anonymous’ in the journal, otherwise all Commissioners will be displayed with a link to their pages.
Commissions will be worked in order of admission. First come, first served.
Just for redundancy: A finished Commission does not mean an open slot. If there are open slots at the end of the week of admission, they remain vacant until Commissions are open again. Commissions will be open once more the 1st day of the next month.
*DO NOTE: I may decide to open more slots in the future. The current number is tentative to see how it affects my work flow. If this changes at any time I will make a new annotation here.
Multi Chapter Commission Slot: If a multi chapter story is desired, we may be able to talk it out. If that were the case, it would be a special slot as it were, and details will be hashed out in private.
A multi chapter story (or mini series) would be limited to no more than five chapters, at least to begin with.
Further work may be discussed depending on the satisfaction of the Commissioner. If it feels as if I cannot do the idea justice long term, then it should be made clear and part ways in the best terms possible.
Just to make it clear, this specific slot would be unique, as in: No more than one Multi Chapter commission at a time.
Multi Chapter Commissions would be the last commission to be worked during the month as they are fixated and will happen no matter what. This does not mean only one chapter would be worked during the month, and more than one may be finished (if possible) during that time period.
Unlike regular Commissioners, Multi Chapter Commissions will have the Commissioner displayed and cannot be made private (Either the Commissioner, me, or both, will upload these ones). The number of agreed and completed chapters will also be displayed.
Rules: Unlike many other writers, I don’t work with a set limit of words given to me by the Commissioner. In fact, I work like this:
I specialize in longer, more complex stories, whether they are a single chapter, a mini series or a full blown series. As such the more characters, kinks, scenes and other details desired for the story, the longer it will be. If you wish for a simple, short story I am sorry to inform you that such is not my way of working.
Simply put: Really, really short stories aren’t my forte and I refuse to constrain myself, only to give the Commissioner something of poor quality. Anything considered to be ‘too short’ or ‘simple’ will be rejected, as both I and the Commissioner are likely to be dissatisfied with the result.
My works tend to have a lot of detail and are never less than 5K words on average, and may expand to 20K or more. As per previously disclosed pricing, 20K words would mean 400€, which I know is a tidy sum. Do keep this detail in mind as haggling is not something I tend to do.
With that said, for a Commission I need the following.
An opening [Mandatory and meant for the first PM]: - Meaning an introductory PM with the basic idea framework. Whether it is an original story or fanfiction, what it is to be about and so on. A quick mention of characters, fetishes or anything else may come in, but this can be expanded afterwards once I respond and we see whether I find I can work with the idea or not. Once that is done I will require the following points.
Characters Involved: - Characters that the Commissioner wants in the story (either images or detailed, if possible, physical descriptions as well as personality, how they act, etc) may be required. If no character/profile is given, then that would mean I am allowed to come with the characters myself, though the Commissioner may hint at species or other guidelines for the characters still. *Note: If the characters involved are from someone else and you have gotten permission to have them in this commission, then I will need the original owner to contact me or I will send them a PM myself to check on this. Safety and respect first after all. If said permission is confirmed to be a lie… the least the Commissioner can expect is to be rejected, though blacklisting and denouncing are just as likely.
Do note - If no Character detail is given at all, you are issuing freedom for me to choose within any other parameter given (Kinks, setting, theme, scenes…). I shall not accept complaints about the Characters if you decide to leave this section blank for whatever reason.
Kinks the Commissioner wants in the story, if any: - I will not work with the following. - Prefered Kinks and settings I have experience with. - Any kink or fetish not hinted at her may be discussed during our messaging [As I may have forgotten or glossed over some]. - If the story isn’t meant to be adult themed, make it clear. And if it was intended to be clean/sexual at first, then I will not accept a change of heart down the line, as that may require a whole rewrite.
Setting [Mandatory]: - A necessary extension on the opening message. To expand on anything desired of the setting of this story. - From Primeval, caveman worlds to Sci-Fi virtual settings. This includes Heaven, Hell and such things. Almost any setting is fine unless I have literally zero experience with it. - With Fanfiction we must refer to the comic/cartoon/movie, etc, things would be set in if there is more than one. Here you can have an example of settings I have worked with [The real list is much more extensive, but I will not add ALL universes I have experiences with].
Theme: - Action, adventure, SCI-FI, horror and so on. May not be required in most works that could be considered ‘Day to day’, in which case the themes may refer to the main location (Hospital, School, Church, Space Station) if it is specific for most of the story.
Scenes/Idea [Mandatory]: - The meat and potatoes. What specific scenes the Commissioner may desire. May include anything from how the story starts, when certain events take place and more. The more detailed, the more exact I shall be with the Commissioner’s intent. The more freedom I am given, the more I’ll try my best to fulfill the Commissioner’s desires, yet there are no guarantees if the Commissioner does not specify all they may want. But if there is no solid idea to begin with? I will not consider a reply in the first place.
Uploading: - Whether this commision is meant to be private, the Commissioner wishes to upload it, if both me and the Commissioner will upload it, or if I alone will upload it. This can be decided at any point, and even changed later on, but being clear on it from the get go would be preferable.
Contact and Commission Editing: Contact is done through PMs. I am working most of the time in front of my computer and check most sites I am at regularly through the day. I do my best to have prompt replies whenever possible unless life takes me away from my workspace.
The whole idea may be discussed through many PMs as needed to hash out all the details. We can even bounce possibilities back and forth and so on if the Commissioner so desires, so long as the foundation to build from has been presented. I am not opposed to iron details for a long while before I get to work on the story itself.
As soon as every detail desired is agreed upon, I will start the work as soon as possible.
Once the work’s first draft is completed, I will send the Commissioner a PM with a google doc link for them to check it out. Any changes deemed necessary will be carried out, within reason.
Changing the whole idea, characters and very important details that would require to alter the whole story will not be carried out. Pushing for a whole rewrite for any reason I consider excessive will cancel the commission and blacklist that Commissioner. That is why I ask for as much detail as possible setting things up prior to starting the story itself.
Private Discord chat is faster, but I don’t guarantee access to it. If necessary, we shall see.
Payment: Payment is done through Paypal and will be requested after the commission is done to the Commissioner’s satisfaction. This means after all the edits needed are done and the commission will be posted, or kept private, as per the ‘Upload’ section in the rules.
Payment is expected the day of completion. This is doubly so if any edit was asked for, as the Commissioner would be aware of how close the work is to being finished.
If any delay is to be expected, forewarning is required.
Extended delays in payment, with no reason given, will mark the Commissioner as ‘low priority’ if it is the first ever Commission.
For any Commissioner that has employed my work before, there may be more leniency, but my patience is not infinite. Repeated delays in payment will also issue a ‘low priority’ mark.
‘Low Priority’ will ignore the ‘First come first serve’ rule due to unreliability on the Commissioner’s part. Repeatedly delaying payment after being marked as ‘Low Priority’ will just land you in the Blacklist, if only for safety on my part.
Warning: Payment at the end of the work is done as a show of good faith. I have yet to encounter bad actors in all my years doing this, but I shall preemptively warn that if that stops being the case, I will change this policy. I do not wish to do it, but this has happened to a fair few people I know, including my sister (I write, she draws. If asked I shall share a link) and I have absolutely no patience with people I consider have wronged me.
The change would incur a deposit of a 100€ upfront [5K words cost], and the rest of the cost would be charged after. If this situation were to happen AGAIN (meaning that after the upfront, the difference was not paid on job completion), the deposit would double (200€, or 10K words), with the rest being paid after, or, in case the work does not reach 10K words as the story is too short, I shall return the difference.
A third strike would mean I will likely ask for up to 20K words cost (400€) upfront, with previously stipulated rules. This will also include a change of admission, with me becoming extremely picky with whatever commissions I accept within this site. I hope that never happens but that is why I offer this warning.
Any such action will also include a blacklist from then onwards and any possible legal actions I can take, few as they may be, including making a journal to warn others of the person’s character and actions and the change in policy on my part.
These changes, once applied, will *NOT* be reversed.
