I was accused of plagiarism.

My recently released work "Bring the bunny home"
was accused of having similar sentences and plots to
UlyssTheDolphin
UlyssTheDolphin
(Sorry man, you turned off private messaging, so I had to use this method to contact you)

in  https://inkbunny.net/poolview_process.php?pool_id=99249

We have similar plots and sentences,We have similar plots and sentences

A dog adopt two mice from a post apocalypse scenario;
A dog adopt a homeless bunny girl from the street;

A dog hair washed the two mice brothers in tube and they said "We know perfectly well how to wash ourselves, we didn't ask for your help." (in story description);
A dog hair washed the bunny girl in a tube and says "I can take a bath by myself, whats wrong with this person?" (in a speech bubble);

A dog prepared a dinner for the mice brothers saying "You can eat as much as you want. It's all for you guys! " (in story description);
A dog prepared a dinner for the bunny girl saying: "You're welcome, eat as much as you can" (in a speech bubble);

A dog sleeps with the two mice brothers;
A dog sleeps with the bunny girl;

The person who sent me the accusation letter did not ask me first, but severely criticized.

So I have to clarify here that this is completely coincidental.

There are many similar stories of helpless orphans being picked up, bathed and given a delicious meal.
Sleeping with a strong and thick man is a completely common pornographic scene.

I swear here that I have never read his articles before, and I wrote something similar without knowing it.

Before I responded to the accusation letter, my account was hidden because of illegal placement of sponsored links. This rule was said to be issued in December. I am not a native English speaker, so I did not check it at all.

This has resulted in me being unable to bring out my old works to explain to you all, as I had created those scenes long before this story appeared.

bath scene
https://inkbunny.net/s/3498927-p8-#pictop

dinner scene
https://inkbunny.net/s/3512796
https://inkbunny.net/s/3240285-p9-#pictop

Look at the time these works were published. Who created them first?

And, that’s not the point, AI creation can make these scenes by anyone.

So back to the story and the content, I don't really know that I create the same story as everyone else.

Some people think I am malicious, and their approach is to stab me first and then tell me why.

Now I want to explain why it is impossible for me to plagiarize this work.

First, if I reference or adapt someone else's story, why don't I ask for permission or cite the source?

https://inkbunny.net/s/3153203
https://inkbunny.net/s/3155110
https://inkbunny.net/s/3374437
https://inkbunny.net/s/3442573
https://inkbunny.net/s/3445176

These stories, one is adapted in collaboration with others, and the other is a reference source.

Why should I hide the source this time? It doesn’t make sense.

If I have a habit of plagiarizing others, why is this the only time there is controversy?

Also, if you are my fan,You will know, I am a loli lover, not a shota or homosexual lover, what do you think is the probability that I will click on a homosexual article?

Of course, there is no evidence to prove that I have never seen his work. There is no record of browsing his work on this website, so I cannot prove that I have never seen his work before.

Now let me explain why our stories are so similar. If you were to create a story like this, most of your dialogues and plots would be like this. Bring the dirty little cub home, touch her body while bathing him, let her eat delicious food, and seduce her with the bulge under her crotch. This is really the basic routine.

What hurt me the most this time was that the person who sent me this accusatory letter was a writer whom I had worked with before. This is the most severe accusation against a writer.

He should know that similar situations always happen in the writing circle, but his first sentence is not to ask me why, but to say that I am guilty.

Now I want to respond to this as a writer.

If you think this is a false accusation, you are right. If you think this is a crime, you are also right. The only thing I can do is to continue writing to prove to everyone that true creativity cannot be maintained by plagiarism. I can always come up with new things and always explore how to improve my creations. This is why I am not afraid that AI will replace me.

P.S.:The tone of the writer who sent me the accusation letter has improved. He said that he was not the one who reported my account. I believe him, but there are still a few people on the Internet who accused me right away and did not listen to my explanation at all.

honestly similar plots but to be fair the concept of a prey animal being rescued off the streets by a bigger predator type (both literal and figurative) feels like something multiple people have. Maybe there is some rip offs, but personally I think you are fine, like I said I've seen this concept before a lot

Is this even a thing on this site with AI?

I thought that with the rules that mandate disclosing all the details, it can be expected that things will be copied back and forth to some extent. Maybe that'd even be a good thing, make for some sharing of tricks, and lead to better results in the end.

That was a mistake and way too much effort on your part.
I would not have entertained a tenth of his/her grievances because its nonsensical to accuse someone of plagiarism over a commonly used trope.
Furthermore, story similarities are not against the rules, nor could they be because its 2025 and we have basically 65 generation's worth of creative trash piled up on the digital framework, none of which are "oh so original" that no parts of them overlap at one point or another.

Meh... i liked those pictures on top of it all. I am thoroughly disappointed. Both in the removal of the images and the infantile trash attitude of ppl. Thought we got past this already... apparently not.

"There are many similar stories of helpless orphans being picked up, bathed and given a delicious meal"

A concept like this has definitely been in my mind for ages and have imagined my OCs on either side .///.
Twice even RPed something (wholesome) in that direction.
It's a classic naughty white knight thrope.
And I love that yours did not lead to rape!

Anyways, therefore I don't think an artist has any unique rights on a rendition of that even if they happen to be similar in the end...

What an irony, I guess.

Don't let such a thing get close to you ^-^
Setbacks do happen and I mean, that's just one person.

EDIT: And it seems that person even is a bit on the weird side with other actions as well.
Just ignore and move on.

I sincerely hope that you are not... i dont even know what word to use here.
Why on earth would you entertain the nonsense of someone who is clearly in the wrong?

This is the internet, you have all kinds of nutters with a lack of self-awareness running around, randomly attacking people.
I have no idea how old you are, but please for the love of all that's f-ing holy, do not start to think that YOU did something wrong just because someone else is inane and thinks that they created the idea of picking up a homeless/orphan.

That trope dates back to ancient greece for the love of fck. So his lack of self-awareness is bad enough.
Please do not add to that by actually entertaining the idea that you did something wrong here cause you did not.

I am so disappointed. I liked those pictures too.

=T_T= Your comic was too good. You are suffering from success...or a rival just wanted to take you out on some loose accusation basis. I agree, that the story was done before, but hey, the dialogue and ai pictures was surely your own original! I'd say, you are good, and hope your comic can return asap, once things have cleared up!
Never do dolphin characters (especially blue male and pink female ones) tho' as that other user will surely get ballistic on you again! XD Funny, not funny. =:I

so... just to make this clear: every story written nowadays was already existent in some way or form.

Also god damn both use AI. Talking about plagiarism between two AI users is like going onto a porn site to complain about all the naughty stuff there... I am pretty sure that 99.999% of AI art programs learned from other ppl's arts without asking them beforehand.

Just saying.
Labyrias
Meh... human beings learn from eachother in general... i never really understood the point of criticism about AI having learned from the art of other artists. Which human did not? We gonna now ban the idea of ppl learning because that infringes on copyright too?
Siver999
There are some problems with ai especially being used with copyright infringements but these go so deep that discussing them here would go overboard.

Copying others too can be a problem. some ppl really spend loads of time and efford into a project that basically costs them money and others coming along, copying them and earning the money with only a fraction of the work is just unfair and that is why copyright is basically the artist version of patents. stealing art from others (be it literature, painting or music) is still theft (and AI made it worse for sure. Ask ppl who live from art that have whole loras been made of like Dagasi) but that is not the point here. This is not a question if ai is wrong or not (can be both depending on how it is used). I just wanted to say with my thing that they use a highly controversial medium (AI) to create art and one accusing the other of stealing while using himself AI is kinda hilarious and you could even say hipocracy...

Porn is kinda like action movies, the plots are going to be simliar regardless.

Action movie:
Short battle sequence -> get to know the protagonist -> trouble at school/work/relationships -> Get into battle -> failure, insecurity, worries -> Something bad happened -> Go to help -> Even BIGGER battle -> Win -> Everybody is happy :D

Porn:
Hey there sexy -> oh whoops your boobs fell out of your shirt u///u -> fondle -> blowjob -> vaginal penetration -> Anal maybe -> We're in a relationship now :D

just finished checking ulyss' newest posts and blocking him.

-_- i liked him when he did cub content but then he went all anti and nuked most of his older content and now has a strictly NO nsfw cub content policy. he's since removed the relevant journal post about it.

and 2 of his most recent posts were for the pool this journal is about. part 7: the 2 mouse boys were cubs. part 8 and 9: now teens or adults

RIP appeal.

dude thinks agumon is a cub while greymon is an adult and the same for charmander and charizard. you'd think that stupidity had ended years ago but nope, still got people using that bs argument to censor cub content.

as for the content he removed... ~120 pics i have saved in a folder.

I also un-followed him because of this, I really liked the cub stuff, and he did it soo suddenly too, has he even given a reason why he abandoned cub stuff? I always hate when artists lead with cub stuff and abandon it later for no defined reason, it's soo disrespectful to their followers.

No one really hates their own creations. They usually have unavoidable reasons, such as guilt, peer pressure, local laws, and more importantly, it is he choice. I am lucky to have a group of friends around me who can understand my work.

well, in this case, all evidence points to anti's being the reason and anti's are irl pedophiles.

"MAP/Minors will be automatically blocked 🔞

REQUESTS: OPEN

Disclaimer:
What you we'll see in my gallery is only fiction!
I will NEVER generate REAL images for anyone.
Any releated request of information about that will be negated and reported."

this part of his profile description very heavily implies it to be the case. irl pedos (which is what so-called "MAPs" are as well) are pretty much the only people who project their interests onto those of us who like fictional cub/shota/loli content while seeking to have it banned and bash us for liking such content.

so, my guess is he started getting comments and/or DM's from such people and decided to nuke the content they took issue with.

imo, the only thing doing that instead of standing your ground and refusing to cave to their bs demands really accomplishes is what blanket banning "violent video games" would accomplish. it'd be the removal of a safe and harmless outlet for certain interests, urges, and desires which would inevitably lead to people having little choice but to act on such things irl instead of via fictional content.

anti's are a plague both irl and all across the internet.

If he went too public with it i.e. posting his stuff on social media, i can easily imagine that he attracted the wrong kind of attention.
However that is another notch on his lack of self-awareness list.

To not expect haters to show up and react in such a ridiculous way about it, shows that he has no idea about the world.
This is further underlined by the idea that he can accuse someone of plagiarism over the usage of a common trope such as picking up a homeless/orphan.

TL;DR: This gave me flashbacks to what FurAffinity and the artist community at large looked like 10-15 years ago. Self-awareness was like a mythical, hardly ever seen concept.
quintisian27

nope! iirc he said he wouldn't be giving any explanation as to why he did it in that journal.
Labyrias

Yeah... no... Noblesse oblige, the strong showing kindness, the predator helping the prey, the "privileged" helping the vulnerable is a common trope not some kind of frikin genius of writing nobody has ever thought of.

But even if it was, there is absolutely no rule that would forbid creators to have "similar" works to that of others.

This kind of stuff drags back a lot of very old memories from the artist community. The hourly dramas about bs like reposting art, using similar characters, positions, color themes, who is tracing who is not.... i thought that by 2025 ppl finally got used to how the internet works, but apparently there are still stragglers out there... even more so since most of the posts you linked are now hidden or goan.

TL;DR: You committed no rule violation, and personal opinions or jealousy hardly matter. If someone cant figure out that the usage of similar tropes is not against any rule.... just no comment on that.
Whats next? We gonna remove stuff related to the "damsel in distress" trope? Oh i bet thats gonna be fun considering that the original artist who came up with it is probably dead since 2000+ years.

in annoying nasally voice: O C...do...not...STEAL!

i'm old enough that i still remember the days of that! lol remember those "fans"?

edit: "even more so since most of the posts you linked are now hidden or goan."

i think this is so they can edit them to remove the kofi link because for stupidity's sake, ai artists aren't allowed to make money off their work cause "Ai Is TrAiNeD uSiNg StOlEn ArT".

people really are that stupid and scared of this mirror humanity is staring into in fear of what it sees.

quintisian27

regarding the kofi link removal thing, my stance on that is more harsh due to the sheer stupidity of it...

ArT aI iS tRaInEd UsInG sToLeN aRtWoRk! or it's not actual art just because it wasn't created by a human.

how does ai learn and improve? same as humans do. what is ai art output? the same thing humans do.

art ai is a mirror in which humans are staring into and are scare of what they see. they're scared of a digital entity doing the exact same things they themselves do throughout their lives.

and until AI achieves sentience (which it's still on its way towards. iirc not too long ago ai managed to bust through the learning "wall" that had been holding it back all on its own.), it's a tool.

so, with that in mind...why are we paying artists who use brushes or tablets or apps? those are all tools too.

that you can't be paid, even by donations, for creating ai art is arbitrary and idiotic. it's a stupid decision made by stupid people scared of the proverbial mirror.

or to put all this another way... this situation is horse drawn carriage drivers bitching and moaning at people who drive cars! that is exactly the situation art ai found itself in and has yet to escape.

it's all rooted in sheer arrogance, fear, and a false air of superiority. because humans believe art isn't art unless humans, specifically, create it.

hell, the truth is, we humans are inferior (in almost every way imaginable) to pretty much all other animals in the world. with even our so-called "superior intellect" being extremely questionable at best. it's ridiculous that you have to remove those donation links because of this.

I think the essence of creation is the soul. If you just draw a picture every day without thinking deeply about the story or technique you want to express, then you are no different from AI, just a little worse.

Just giving my two cents on this topic. I was one of the people caught off guard by this rule change back in December when it happened. I remember seeing it a few days later, and after seeing the date the rule went into effect and changing all my posts, not only that, someone also reported my Ko-Fi, and my account was suspended because their TOS does not support adult content of any kind.

I would have every reason to be ranting against this, but there is one point we need to remember. By registering on IB, Ko-Fi, or wherever, we are subject to their terms of use, which many of us don't even bother to read, and by violating the code of conduct, we are subject to the punishments provided therein.

What I had tried to talk to Picker on Telegram about, and which I believe has some correlation, is that the moderation team, at least at that time, took a long time to respond to tickets. I have a ticket from November that I am still waiting for the outcome of. What I suspect may have happened is that someone simply reported it when the rules were changed in December, and only now have they resolved it.

Of course, I am just assuming this because I am not part of the moderation team, but that is precisely what I see as the whole point: At this point we are just speculating. Yes, it is just speculation, but making an expose based on this is not the right attitude, at least not in my eyes.

Hello Picker and anyone else reading this comment,

When you tried to do this in the Telegram group we participate in together, I tried repeatedly to explain to you why your gallery was temporarily suspended (and from what I noticed, it has already returned) and there is no correlation between the facts, but you made a point of bringing up this topic time and time again, even though, from what I understand, it was something that came to you privately and was not publicly exposed.

If you allow me a suggestion, if you want to please the people who follow you, try to do it for the work you do and not for exposing other people; delete this journal and try to resolve things. I myself can try to help you with that because publicly exposing someone is not fair to you and much less to him; believe me, I know.

Note that, once again, the story became public because you made a point of doing so. Maybe this will be a learning experience for you, because this ends up tarnishing the image of all AI content creators, including me, you, and him. In short, I honestly see no benefit to this, and reviewing your decision could be beneficial for all of us.

I hope you take this into consideration when reviewing your stance on the recent events.

I understand that you have been trying to clarify that the censorship has nothing to do with the accusations, but that is how I feel. The censorship happened right after I received the letter, and it is hard for me not to associate it with it.
On the other hand, I did receive private messages from some people to harass me.

For this reason, I don’t want anyone to think that I am trying to avoid the problem, so I made these messages public. Whether it is right or wrong, I will leave it to them to judge for themselves.

I understand that you don't want things to be radicalized. I just want to say that I will not delete these messages, and I have not tarnished any AI user. Even the author himself has not contacted me so far.

What I want to say is that I don't have to apologize just because my work happens to be similar to someone else's. I feel worse than anyone when I am accused because they skip rational questioning and start blaming me.

I don't know what you've been through that made you choose to remain silent. I was once one of those who kept silent because I didn't want to cause any trouble. But what I couldn't accept was that they summed up my hard work with one word: "plagiarism".
picker52578

There are always people who suggest not to make a fuss about things or to speak them out, because otherwise quarreling with others will not do any good to the overall situation. But from another perspective, they just want others to shut up and pretend that things didn't happen, so that they can feel mentally calm.

I don't want to blame you, but what you are doing is just asking me to endure silently after being attacked, which is not true neutrality, so I chose to use public, because in this matter, there is no recognized third party to decide right and wrong
picker52578
If their attitude was "Hey, I think this story is similar to yours? Did you refer to his?" I would simply explain that I haven't seen them so I don't know. Maybe I would choose to make myself less similar and modify the content or seek the other party's consent, but I was not treated well in this way.
picker52578

I didn't explode all at once. As an AI creator, there are always people who come to cause trouble for me and report me for all kinds of inexplicable reasons. I choose to compromise again and again. I don't blame the administrators. They are just doing their jobs and have not let their personal emotions affect their judgment. They also apologize to me when they make mistakes..

But in contrast, those who come to me for trouble do not have to take any responsibility or apologize to me.

If the positions were reversed today, and someone said that my content was plagiarized by someone else, I would carefully review his work and make an appropriate response. I would even encourage him to create more and not be influenced by others. If necessary, I would even stand by him and speak for him.

picker52578

I will continue to post the rest of the content, and you will find that his story is completely different. These are two different works. I have already posted the uncaptioned version on Telegram in advance because I had not finished it when the incident happened. If you still think I plagiarized after reading it, it is your business.
