By me! So no, I don't speak French, but I took lessons as a child. I found existing subtitles of Episode 1, but they were bad. I used ChatGPT plus this cool tool that can use a ChatGPT API key and translate SRT files without screwing up the timecode: https://cerlancism.github.io/chatgpt-subtitle-translator/
I first downloaded the episodes from France.tv using a French VPN, I also downloaded the subtitle files and translated them from that.
I then reviewed them line by line while watching the show and put in missing words and translated some confusing lines with multiple tools to pick the best one that makes the most sense.
Want to see how I did? I have four episodes done here. They're MKVs with embedded soft subtitles. Subtitles should play automatically, but if they don't, make sure the English subtitle is selected in the Subtitles menu of VLC, Plex, or whichever app you're using.
