This is going to be awfully good, I bet!

Also apparently the issue is being cause by problems with baraag's storage provider. They still have their domain and hosting and so forth, but aren't able to actually serve content.

Yea they first had hardware problems, Then their storage provider dropped them so they need to find a new one according to their twitter post

Satori is a hero: The things he deals with to keep the site going... at a time when anyone who's different or even tolerates difference is attacked by a worldwide cult of indoctrinated zealots, who even label themselves "tolerance and acceptance" in an attempt to mimic what they're not. People who feel threatened by cartoons and drawings need treatment, as do those brainwashed to see absurd threats to children in every normal thing: The rest of us can't keep dealing with their shit forever, we didn't sign up to babysit crazed tyrants who took over everything (from governments to payment systems to tech companies) and use their power to impose wacky medieval beliefs and ancestral moral codes on the whole world... if need be let's separate ourselves into different societies so we just never interact with them and can all live in peace. May the site be back up soon and remain protected from all future attempts to bring them down.

Unfortunately, this shit's been going on for a very, very long time. Proof: Seduction of the Innocent. One guy gets a bug up his ass and nearly destroys the comics industry in the 1950's. I could pull further examples from nearly every decade in the last century, unfortunately.

In the 1950's it's no surprise, WWII just ended and the angry patriarchal types were still in power. In 1960 they were doing Nazi type book burnings of Superman comic books because they "cause the gay"... gotta love how now one sees the resemblance there, but will go crazy if someone lifts their arm the wrong way because it's a Nazi salute or whatever. Things seemed more promising in the 1990's, back when young people protested to demand "sex drugs and rock n' roll" instead of "we're offended by everything"... if even half as many people still protested for free expression as those who glue themselves to freeways to stop global warming.

At least on the internet I saw it happen in the late 2000's, when Furaffinity transitioned from an art site for all to another digital prison-church by banning cub art and more since. Both websites and even some governments have only been growing more fanatical and delusional each year after that... to the point we can safely say there's systemic oppression of even artists who draw certain themes, not something you'll hear about from the "anti-discrimination" people.

Unfortunately the whole "People feel threatened by cartoons and drawings" is a much more real thing in England (and too many places in Europe sans Germany and Denmark), Australia, New Zealand and Canada. It's quite ironic how the USA is the only place in the world to at first pass a law criminalizing lolshocub art but then have it struck down a couple years later when they realized it wasn't making a dent in stopping the real crime.

Doesn't help that this current powers that be are trying to create a second Prohibition, this time with all porn.

Oh yeah Britain is just... yeah: If anyone's still there today I advice fleeing the place as I would someone stuck in Syria. There are other abusers like France and Germany, at least regime change is in the air and the old guard is panicking. America is protected by the constitution thank goodness, it would be a second North Korea by now if it wasn't for that... the authoritarian nutjobs there are trying to negotiate their way around it or just not apply it any more, thankfully even they don't want to officially cease existing as a nation by suspending its application just for their nutjob hubris.

I keep hearing conflicting reports on whether Germany is criminalizing or decriminalizing lolishocub art, I'm sure its not criminalized there. Denmark is pretty based, in the sense they have psychologists and scholars actively defending art as a coping mechanism and outlet as well as harmless.

England, politically, has always been a mess of tosspots and pretentious old men playing at running the world, all resenting over their lost great empire they will never obtain again. Many English are realizing Brexit was an awful idea, too bad the damage is already done.

This happens every once in a while, not the first time. Every few months Baraag goes down for a day or more, half the time it's some technical failure the other half if's the patriarchy going after those who commit heresy.
