What kind of proof do I need? Doesn't need to be much - you don't need a photo or anything, you just have to convince me that you're a German citizen and that you have a plan to vote. You don't even need to actually follow through on that plan! But if you lie to me, your guilty conscience will condemn you >:3c
Do I have to tell you who I'm voting for? NO. I'm not telling you who to vote for, I just want you to vote.
Why? We're facing an international resurgence of fascism, and furries across the globe - especially new voters - need to become more involved in politics and need to increase our representation. Now more than ever I want furries to be aware of politics and to not sit out elections.
Why Germany? They're the highest profile upcoming election with a party running that I consider to be openly fascist. I may repeat this for other countries.

If you're located in the US, you can check upcoming state elections at https://www.usvotefoundation.org/ and let me know when they'll be coming up. I'm not promising that I'll do this for every election, or what form the offer will take for each election, but I'll try to offer some kind "get out the vote" special for primaries and state elections when I can.
Is this legal?
I'm pretty sure it is? I'm more familiar with US voting laws, but I've done research and I don't think I'd be violating any German laws. If I become aware of any issues, I'll reduce the requirements to comply with those laws. For example, in the US I'll pawbably have different offers/requirements since giving something of value to encourage voting registration (regardless of the party) is illegal. Or at least was, before Elon decided, "fuck it, I'll just do that anyway", and then we all just decided that this law no longer applied. ><
For Germany in particular, I'm looking at stories like this, as well as looking into specific laws that I can find online, all of which seem to indicate to me that this is OK. But if you have concerns (and actual knowledge of them, not just arm-chair lawyering stuff) reach out to me privately and let me know.
What can I request? 5 minute doodles are quick drawings. Come up with a 1-2 sentence description max of what you want, and link over any refs that are important to your idea. Simpler or offbeat is good! Imagine that you're giving me a Gartic Phone prompt.
Will the pics be private? They can be anonymously attributed, but I publicly post most things that I draw. So don't ask for doodles that you wouldn't want to end up online - I will likely put together some kind of collage depending on the number of responses I get.

Btw. how Musk influenced the elections in the US used to be, let's say, less legal.
