I'll probably be posting art less often until I get used to this new situation; I haven't got time to contact everyone who sent commission requests, and the ones I've accepted are being more slowly worked on. If you haven't got an answer for me please be patient, i will get to you!
I took one of my cats to get fixed and some suspicious symptoms led to blood tests; he has something called "Feline Immunodeficiency Virus", which leaves him more prone to diseases and generally having more intense, possibly fatal symptoms. This could potentially force me to permanently separate him from my other two cats; he's been confined in my room, until the surgery marks heal at least, and I'll have to test the others for FIV too. We're not even sure for how long he's had it, because it's asymptomatic until some kind of infection gives a hint to it.
Depending on the results, I have to start considering isolating him permanently or block all the nooks the others could find to wander off my property (given the case they have the same condition). He has been somehow neglected, at least compared to my other pets; we used to give them all plenty of freedom because we have a big yard.
I'm still unsure of what to do in a long term, especially because he's mostly been an outside cat, but I plan to "make it up" to him for how long I've been procrastinating his health; I'm giving him lots of attention, and I even got him a new brush.
It's probably the first time in my adult life where I have to take care of a living being so close as now, So yeah, let's see how it goes! Luckily I have a little stash of money for emergencies, but I'm working on commissions more slowly than usual.
