☙‧︎⊰─✥︎✪ 𝙅𝙊𝙐𝙍𝙉𝘼𝙇 𝙐𝙋𝘿𝘼𝙏𝙀 ✪✥︎─⊱‧︎❧ Hey everybody, how's it going? I hope you're doing well! I know I normally do my journals on Sundays, but a LOT has happened in the past while, and I figured now was as good a time as any to talk about it here & now.
So starting things off on a super positive note! For those who know me, know I LOVE Dragon Ball! And despite what people say about it, Dragon Ball G.T is one of my all-time favorite entries, faults and all. The best thing about G.T was definitely Super-Saiyan 4, nobody can deny that. But of course, you'll have Dragon Ball Super purists claiming otherwise and falling back on the age-old argument failsafe that G.T isn't canon, even though it 'is' officially recognized as part of the official timeline. That being said.. Dragon Ball Daima's 18th episode just premiered today, and it was an amazing episode. Not only was it a love-letter to the fans, but it was especially for G.T fans. The episode's title is called "Awakening", which, if you've never watched Dragon Ball G.T before (please do it's awesome~) is the name of the same episode where Goku transforms into Super-Saiyan 4 for the first time~ .....And guess what? It freaking happened!! It looks different than the design shown in G.T, but Super-Saiyan 4 is now officially canon in Dragon Ball, and I couldn't be happier >W< I know Daima didn't have the best reception with fans, but I've honestly loved it since episode 1. They filled in so many plot holes and retcon'd so much stuff in such a short amount of time, all while introducing elements that made Toriyama's best work shine, and continues to do so well after his passing.. So I just want to say thank you, Toriyama-Sensei, for everything~
In other news, after years of my mother talking about visiting me, and vice versa, she's finally coming to Colorado close to my birthday, she has her plane tickets and everything. And the best part? She's bringing pretty much all my stuff! Like, not ALL of it, sadly, because there'd just be no way.. But she got a bunch of suit cases and filled them with as much of my stuff as she could, which includes everything I asked for specifically, so that'll be the best present I've had in years!
And now, for some not so great crap, I guess.. As of late, our housemate and one of my best friends whom I also consider a brother, has been acting out of character as of late.. And by that, I mean he's distanced himself from us, has barely been home, and hasn't been talking to us about what's been bothering him or what we did to make him act like this. We normally watch his son during the week, but he's stopped bringing him over and instead leaves him with his mother or grandmother. Which.. is fine, because family-first and all.. But we were under the impression we were family, too :/ And we loved watching our god-son.. So that hurts. He says he's just figuring things out, but with the way things are going, we don't expect him to stick around even despite us telling him we won't just kick him out, and he wants to talk to us he can. Because we do love him and we do care, so the best we can do is wait it out and see what he wants to do come the end of the month.. But yeah, aside form that, nothing major has happened.. (Knock on wood).
𝘼𝙧𝙩𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙠 - With that out of the way, it's time to talk about the major developments with art! After a lot of consideration and getting super tired of waiting for things to shape up with my still-ongoing process to get my citizenship, I have decided to try out the whole... Patreon thing. What does this mean? Well, I'm still going to post my work on here of course, because I love this site~ But I am going to be making changes. I will no longer post extreme fetish-related artwork on here, plain and simple. If I do a NSFW comm for somebody, I'll be sure they receive it through Discord or some other means of their choosing, but it won't be showing up in my gallery here or anywhere else. They're free to post it wherever they like of course because they paid for it, but any extreme artwork of my own O.C's and stuff like that will be posted on my Patreon going forward. Because I'll be real, not having a job really sucks, and I could really use the support.. So if I can make things work on Patreon, that'd definitely take a load off my shoulders, so I'm going to at least try.. I have three tiers in total, and they're quite generous if I'm being honest. I'm not changing the prices of my commissions or anything like that, so don't worry, but I will be making exclusive content on there at least once a month. As a matter of fact, I have new artwork of Kaori posted here, but much spicier alts are available over there~ And they're quite vivid if I do say so myself ;3 But yeah, shameless plug aside, if you wish to check out my page & possibly support me in what I love doing, you can visit my page here. 𝙂𝙖𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙜 - Gaming is always busy for me, but more so now than ever~! I finally got into FFXIV (Final Fantasy 14 - A Realm Reborn), and have been having a lot of fun playing it and enjoying the massive story that it is. But I've also been playing a lot of Monster Hunter! I was able to pre-order Wilds a while back, and I played the Beta test last week, and I have to say, I'm super excited~ Because not only is the game gorgeous in every way, but it's cross-play compatible from day ONE! So I'll literally be able to play with all my friends who have it on Xbox, P.C or PlayStation (and eventually the Switch II I imagine..). I also play Dragon Ball Sparking! Zero off and on, but I've actually been playing Xenoverse 2 more, because.. well.. there's just more to do on there lol. Everybody said Xenoverse 2 was going to die when Sparking Zero came out, and unsurprisingly, they're wrong. Xenoverse 2 is still going strong with millions of players logging in everyday, there's still MORE DLC on the way, and they're following a pretty solid road map. The Festival of Universes is also on the horizon, too, which means more free DLC, new skills and mentor updates, and likely another increase for the level-cap. I just hope they make a more substantial (and free) way to level our characters, because being forced to grind the same crap over and over or spending REAL money for super TP Medals to pay that Namekian NPC to increase your levels is just... yeah.. lol. On the other hand, I've been playing a lot of Dokkan Battle, thanks to the 10th anniversary celebration currently happening. ..Gods.. Ten years I've been playing that mobile game, that's.. wild.. lol
𝘾𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙗𝙡𝙚𝙨 - So, quite a few things happening here. With the drama of the housemate, I'm moving my Transformers collection back upstairs to where I used to have it, right across the hall from my bedroom. So that'll be fun.. And with the revelation of my brother possibly moving out, he told me he wanted to give me the majority of his collection if worst came to worst and he moved out, because he knows how much I love the franchise as a whole... Which is really nice of him of course, and he knows I'd love and take care of whatever he throws at me, but that also means I'll definitely need more shelves. Because on top of the stuff he'd be giving me, my mother, like I mentioned earlier, is also coming with a lot of my stuff, so no matter what I do, I'm gonna need more shelves lol. I'll say one thing for sure, though. My collection's gonna look really pretty when I get everything set up.. I can't wait to show it all off~ ...After I assess the damage to my older stuff first, of course..
