I've been informed one of my cousins passed away today. He wasn't young, but not terribly old either. Mid-60s.
Apparently he collapsed while doing some tai chi exercises in the park.
We weren't very close, but when I was a kid I always thought he was really cool.
He was instructor-level in five very different martial arts styles and was big into the culture and philosophy around them. And made his living as a fortune teller. So yeah, he was pretty cool.
I don't know what the funeral arrangements will be. Hopefully he left some instructions. I do know he absolutely would not enter a graveyard; any time there was a funeral he'd show for the viewing and the service, but not the burial. Even his parents.
Rest well, man.
