i think i shouldnt even call myself a furry because they like completely different things from what i like.
if you sort by rating on e621, its like youre not even on a furry website anymore, its just an anime hentai website. furries are just drawing a human being 99% of the time, they make everything a shiny skin-like surface, the body textures are very clean and flat. deliberately try to avoid drawing fur of any kind. it makes me seethe very hard. i get so angry at furry art i just dont even look at porn anymore to be honest. nobody draws my fetishes anyway.
the artists below chunie (one of the worst furries if you ask me) on the e621 ratings just draw morbidly obese people with hyper asses, also very common and very unattractive to me. if i dislike everything that is popular, can i really be called a furry?
I also don't have this strange hangup, this pathological obsession with furry that requires "everything i interact with has to have furries in it" that leads people to watching every episode of Bluey and things like this. i have nearly zero interest in children's entertainment, I'd rather do nothing and stare at the wall instead of watching Bluey or playing Yooka-laylee. i've watched like The Sopranos 5 times because that's the kind of media i'm interested in, not children's diarrhea. like i would prefer The Sopranos has anthros in it, but it isn't a dealbreaker for me that there aren't. i dont need everything to have animal characters in it to entertain me.
i'm deeply in love with King (from the owl house) and have a very special relationship with him, but I didn't even finish watching the cartoon he's from because it was too shit.
morgana persona 5 is like the only furry character that isnt from a shart baby show for retards or something. of course people draw morgana with the anatomy of a morbidly obese human, instead of a chibi cat.
Not playing dogshit baby games and not watching dogshit baby cartoons makes it hard to strike a conversation in a room filled with basically babyfurs in denial.
and lastly i'm not a politically charged weirdo, i don't care about reddit's latest enlightening about social issues or whatever, i don't care about the oppressed, i don't care about the people who control the world. look dude, I don't even leave my house except to work my minimum wage job. i don't care. there is nothing i can do about any of this. i join furry chat rooms and they're one of four things: dead and abandoned, spamming gifs of baby cartoons and spamming "hello", ban you for not being a communist, or talk about how awesome trump is.
i'm not interested in any of those things!!!! i'm not a furry i guess!!!!
