Not an Onion article, not AI, directly from the White House Press Secretary. On the subject of the chaotic and illegal federal spending freeze which was quickly challenged and rescinded, she said the freeze was because DOGE found 50 million dollars that.. she actually claimed with a straight face.. was going to condoms in Gaza...

I seriously thought I misheard that, but.. apparently not.

So yeah, I said it wasn't AI, but I'm starting to wonder if the fabric of reality has been outsourced to Deepseek.

I heard that it was actually around 7 mil and I would say that I didn't believe it if I hady previously heard of the multiple "scientific studies" the govmt has wasted taxpayer dollars on... truly we live in the clown world timeline.

Assuming it's not a straight lie that we're spending money on condoms in a country we can't even get food into, If we're going to start making cuts to government spending, Wal-Street and weapons contracts should be the first on the chopping block. Funny nobody mentions spending in those areas, except when they want to increase it.. again..

I totally agree with you on that one, fuck Wallstreet and the military industrial complex!
 I was just trying to convey that I like 80% believe our government sent money to Gaza for that kinda stuff.
Just because we gave them the money for that specific reason tho doesn't mean Gaza actually spent it on that and didn't do something else with the cash. I honestly believe that our government would spend billions of tax dollars on a scientific grant to discover if water is in fact wet or just makes other things wet when in physical contact with water.

I mean science is kinda all about testing theories. But in any event, preventing the spread of aids in Africa, kinda sounds important. Also I lost my healthcare over this shit at a time when my surgery wound is infected, so that was BS, but thankfully it was rescinded.

The thing is, a reliable cabinet would've noticed the flaws in their economic spending, and wouldn't have frozen everything before researching. EVERYTHING. They know what they're doing, they're testing the waters of how much they can do before fucking us. They want to slow boil the frog.

I think America can definitely help other nations... But maybe focus on fixing all the shit that's wrong with our own nation first and then use taxpayer dollars to help other countries after that and only if they agreed to pay that investment back at a later date.

Also sorry about your health care I'm diabetic and wasn't able to get my prescription (that I need to live) filled for the last 2 months and kept having to go to the emergency room multiple times weakly until everything got sorted out so I kinda get that.

the "50 mil" was most likely about physical heath support and prevention of the spread of any disease, but mainly focused on sexual organs. This including: pads, tampons, condoms, birth control, medication, etc. but they're probs just twisting the words by grouping everything up to just condoms.

People will see '50 Million' and think it's a big number, while Elon has not 10 times, not 100 times, but 10,000 TIMES that amount to his name. Imagine bitching that you had to spent 1 dollar out of your 10,000 dollar bank account.

Also be wary about misinformation spreading assholes in your comment sections. Keep your eyes out, they won't cite reliable sources, and are typically anti-science altogether. They get their news from each other in a game of telephone that exaggerates or lies to fit their narrative.

replying to myself here this is a WEIRD one... trump claimed that DOGE stopped 50 million for condoms for hamas and that they were useing them to make bombs. wich is a hilariously odd statement... it's also half true!


Hamas WAS useing condoms to create small scail IED's mostly just as a thing to hold a payload I think it's a chemical mixture I donno much about it...

but theres also no evidence i can find (at the time of this post im stilling looking into it on and off) that we had 50 million set aside for contracept aid to Gaza...if we did though fucking WHY? DX waste of damn money...how about 50 million in food or water? im sure more will come to light as time progresses. but i think trump herd about the condom bombs and just..assumed they were reperposeing contraceptive aid  in much the same way they reperposed water pipes to make mortors.


 Isreal AND Gaza need to deal with there hamas Problem before any real aid can be trusted to get to the people it is actualy intended for.

On the subject of Israel and Gaza, Israel's bombings are just creating MORE Hamas, the same way our bombings all over the middle-east created ISIS. When people lose their homes and families and have nothing left to lose, they can be easily radicalized. Israel could have gone after Hamas directly all along, but that wasn't their goal, it never was. Not to mention Israel was funding Hamas in their election, which conveniently provided an excuse to continue murdering the peaceful elements in Gaza, and the terror attacks giving them just the excuse they needed to start carpet-bombing and occupying Gaza. Neither Biden, Trump, nor Kamala have, will, or will have done anything about this because of the insane amounts of campaign funds going to all of them from AIPAC, and the billions that would have gone to ads against them had they dissented. So there's that.

As for the sexual health fund, seems that was going to a different Gaza, the one in Mozambique, not specifically for condoms, but to help prevent the spread of HIV in Africa, and it wasn't even close to 50 million.

as for the OTHER gaza thing... if thats true thats genuinely hilarious and I hope they end up sending that out once it's cleared up it's not for the gaza strip.
