This is a series I have been thinking about working on for a while, it’s inspired by Mythology, mostly Japanese, with a bit of X-Files, Delta Green RPG, The SCP Universe, Spriggan (both the 1998 version & the 2022 version), The Cthulhu Mythos, Works of Junji Ito, InCryptid, Wolfwalkers, Godzilla Franchise (Both the Japanese & American versions), The Ultra Series, The Resident Evil Series, The Silent Hill Series, John Carpenter’s The Thing (1982 Original, 2002 VG, 2011 Prequel), Blade Runner, Appleseed, Dominion Tank Police, Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex (including the first season, 2nd Gig, Solid State Society, & SAC 2045), Akira, Cyberpunk 2020, Attack on Titan, Riding Bean, Gunsmith Cats, & Demon Slayer while the setting is set in Modern-Day Earth & Mobius with Combine Continuities of the Archie Comics (Both Pre-Super Genesis Wave & Post-Super Genesis Wave) & the IDW Comics, with blended stylistic aesthetics of Aetherpunk, Afropunk, Apunkalypse, Atompunk, Bamboopunk, Biopunk, Bronzepunk, Bugpunk, Candlepunk, Cattlepunk, Capepunk, Chainpunk, Clockpunk, Cornpunk, Cyberpunk, Decopunk, Desertpunk, Dieselpunk, Dreadpunk, Dungeonpunk, Ecopunk, Elfpunk, Formicapunk, Flowerpunk, Furpunk, Gothicpunk, Hopepunk, Icepunk, Lacepunk, Lunarpunk, Mannerspunk, Mechapunk, Mesopunk, Mythpunk, Nanopunk, Nasapunk, Oceanpunk, Plaugepunk, Post-Cyberpunk, Radiumpunk, Raypunk, Rococopunk, Silkpunk, Solarpunk, Steampunk, Steelpunk, Stonepunk, Swordpunk, Terrapunk, Teslapunk, Tidalpunk, Whalepunk, Yurtpunk (that’s a lot of punk genres, I know), it is subjected to change and/or more will be added later on.
I want to stick to the original sources as best as I can, it involves my character in a secretive organization in the spirit realm dedicated to solving mysteries & combating the most dangerous anomalies from taking over the world called the Judicial Department of Spiritual Anomalies (J.D.S.A.), it’ll also explore the journey on how he became the current grandmaster of the department’s next generation of the Demon Slayer Corps also known as the Demon Hunter Corps & it’ll also follow him as he lead on missions & be part of operations while leading his own unit known as “Wolfpack”.
I am looking into getting art made for my series, as well as some characters, I might take some inspiration, but I want to wait until I have a permanent platform for discussions about any of this, now I have been thinking about getting telegram but for I’m not familiar with the platform, if anyone has suggestions, then that would be appreciated, but the creative process takes time for me, & it really can get hectic at times (I wish I could have word it better & easier to read for the ones who have ADHD but it’s all there, if you or anyone have any questions about this series or have any advice on how to write a story, I have a Telegram & a Discord if you want to ask me anything about my series, I have a link to my Telegram in my Profile & my username on Discord is dakisuke).
