I wanted to let everyone know that, as of yesterday, my home situation has been resolved. There was a discussion that occurred yesterday. During which, I was told that, when Keith goes to Minnesota at the end of April, I am going to be moving from my room in the house to Keith's re-purposed bus which acted as his living space before he moved here. This is actually something that Keith and I had been discussing and pushing for, so I wouldn't need to move away, but we weren't sure if it would be allowed, given the previously mentioned incident. Thankfully, I've been told that, as long as I make no further colossal screw-ups like the one I made that started all of this, I will not be asked to leave the property.
Believe it or not, I'm actually okay with this decision. I've been inside the bus and it's actually quite a cozy little living space, and Keith is going to help me get it set up for me to move in before he leaves. I'll still need to go into the house for the sake of using the bathroom/washing laundry/etc, but other than that, I'll be living in the bus from June onward.
Now, another thing to note: I still intend to work on saving up money, even though I now have a guarantee of a place to stay. I want to make sure I have money to move, should something go horribly wrong, but this now means there won't be a rush of "I HAVE TO be out by a certain time". It was even pointed out by Keith that it would be silly to try and find another place with the money I would likely have by then, since I have a place secured, because it wasn't likely I'd find something that I could cover with my finances even if I did save up for the next three months. When I thought about it, I realized he was right. I am still going to work on saving up, in case the worst happens, but, at least with me being moved into the bus, I'm still going to have a roof over my head, and, as I said, I'm okay with this.
Anyway, I just wanted to share this, so no one had to worry.
