Dad :D

Hello everyone !

Well, it's already been 5 months and I haven't drawn or published anything...

Well, the reason is simple, I'm a dad.

My son takes up almost 90% of my time even if we share the tasks with my wife XD

But I have never been so happy in my entire life.

I don't even know if I can still draw like I did before I left and quite frankly, I don't really care.

I might come back but like I told my employer: “My son is my top priority!”

And my paternity leave ends in 1 week. Yipee... -_-°

But don't lose hope, I can change my mind at any time and will make time for drawing again one day...

So don't be surprised if I post something in a day, a week, or a year. I do what I want, I'm as free as the wind ^^.

Parenting comes first above anything else. You're doing a great job so take all the time you need dude. We aren't going anywhere ^^

You've perfectly summerized my situation since last May.  ^_^
Except for the parental leave part......Mine only lasted 6 weeks XD

Congrats, man.  It's a BIG change in life, but a very special and fulfilling one.
As difficult as it can feel, we'll be able to sort out our artistic times best we can.

Thanks :) Being a father is not easy, we always try to be useful towards our wife but sometimes we really feel useless when the baby wants breast more than feeding bottles ^^°

No worries at all, man. Being a dad is not an easy task, but the fact that you prioritize your son over anything else means you're on the right track to being an excellent father. I wish you the absolute best, to you and your family.

Also, since I've been employed since August of last year, I know what you mean about having less time for art and such.  Still, you do you, and hope your son is doing well as well.

Congrats!

Just focus on raising your new son up right, glad to see you've got the right priorities.  If you come back, that'd be great, but it'll be greater to know you, your wife, and your son are living happily together.

It doesn’t matter that you haven’t posted anything in sometime. Being a Dad is top priority to your son right now. I get how you feel that it takes up most of your time, but I also haven’t been more happier since my kids were born. I love being a dad. Take as much time as you need and enjoy your time with your son. As for your art, I know most of us understand and we’ll wait patiently for when you return with more art. Again, being a dad is top priority to your son.
