Still alive, still trying to art (read: >trying< ), but irl circumstances have progressively interposed themselves between myself and my drawing.
In general, studies have concluded (woo!) and work has been heavily intermittent since (not woo). Other circumstances around living have also put a cap on things, like what I can draw, when, how and for how long. In effect, major projects (like the dozen comics I’ve toyed with over the years) are entirely on hold for the forseeable future, and smaller one-offs are very much as-and-when.
Basically, I’ve not been able to turn on my pc to do anything on there consistently since February last year. Art recently has been done via IbisPaint X on my iPad, which at least is easier to get to and quicker to turn off if required. Otherwise, it’s just not worth getting set up, not when I’m being interrupted every 20 minutes, or being taken out for 5 minute jobs that then proceed to take the >entire sodding day!<
So, art will be few and far between for a while longer, perhaps until I win the lottery. That’d be nice… lol
