Seriously?! We're just going forward with ignoring the constitution and letting this bloated fascist whale our president.... we're also just going to say he is going to be sentenced for 34 felonies with the punishment of nothing... and Trump is still fighting that!

Republicans play all these nasty tricks and our side can't even speak out against a fascist takeover. We now have a president incoming that wouldn't even qualify to work at McDonalds or JiffyLube because of him being a convicted felon... but he can be president!

Serious question: what would you like them to do? What realistic power do they have to stop him, given that he won the election, the Republicans hold Congress, and the Supreme Court is ultra-conservative?

Note that Biden just yesterday protected all US coasts (including Alaska) from future oil drilling, to protect them from Trump.

Bring up the 13th amendment at least? It may be pointless but it would be nice if we gave even 1% resistance.

I didn't know that about Biden, but the Democrats have never been good about communicating the good they're doing.

I'm not sure why they'd bring up the amendment to abolish slavery; as you say -- that'd be strange and pointless.

You are correct, though, that compared to Trump, Biden (and Democrats in general) don't spend a lot of time on PR. Biden's whole thing was to just work, pass a ton of laws, and let the work speak for itself. But it turns out that Americans don't do a lot of research or reading and like to have Fox News yell propaganda at them instead. So instead of knowing that, say, Biden just erased medical debt from all credit reports yesterday (which is something that happened), they're hearing that Trump wants to annex Greenland or whatever.

Howso? He has done nothing that would prevent him, legally, within the bounds of the constitution, from taking office. If there was, you think it would not have been done already?
