I have been drawing one image a day for the year. I have been posting those images, (Nearly daily, life happens) As such, I have posted in 2024 a total of 411 images to this account. I've even started new galleries on other sites as both backups and exposure. The year of 2024 was a leap year so it had 366 days. That puts me at 45 images over my goal.
I ran into the usual hurdles:
Life and work complications. mechanical or computer problems. Storms and life altering events. Exhaustion, burnout, and art block
but I got through.
I did it.
Now, time to do something else.
I will continue the path or daily progress, but this time will turning my attention to new projects.
Art will slide back a bit, so there may be fewer postings. Allowing me to focus on new projects, but art will continue, just more likely with more specific themes. Such as: The Krampus and Rougarou images I posted are part of a planned series of semi-liminal + Folklore/mythology images I wanted to do. I still need to finish the personal demons series. I have three left to draw and all to color.
As for the new projects?
Primarily, I will be returning to writing. I was always a writer/artist combo. I want to get back into that. I will also be moving into more content creation via videos as well. I have a youtube channel, but was never very solid on content due to many, MANY factors. I plan to change that. https://www.youtube.com/@wielder13 However, I will likely be partnering with other creatives to do this and most likely will have a new channel dedicated to the results.
