I would LIKE to be able to say "We are so back" next year. My physical and mental heath hasn't been at its best during 2024, but hopefully I am able to put some of my Sonic traumas behind me now and also...NOT be sick all the time ^^; (Chaos, I hope Sonic Prime's not back in the upcoming racing game...)
I want to do a lot in the coming year. I guess I'll start with what YOU most likely care about; the smut.
I, personally, want to get ambitious with GeneXXX's narrative again. I want to get an honest-to-badness villain arc going that works similarly to Tabitha's arc from a couple years ago, really shaking things up and getting me out of the rut I feel like I'm in. I will also continue to take votes on each chapter, but I may do more non-voted sequences again to keep everyone's storylines moving.
Based on the recent poll (which is still open on the GeneXXX Christmas chapter, btw), I am also considering doing more one-off stories again. Perhaps we'll see a little Prower Power revival, since we all know I'm obsessed yadda yadda yadda.
I want to resume the SFW GeneX series as well. This will be difficult; the power of horniness gives me energy for lewds, but I have a tough time finding that energy for SFW anymore. I also don't have the true north of the planned finale to follow anymore, since I...kinda did the finale and kept going ^^; So that's made it difficult to figure out what to do with future stories. But GeneX's 20th Anniversary is 2026, so I gotta get something going!
That's it for the story section. Now for the art section.
I probably will continue to not draw anything myself except for rare instances of making images for use on the youtube channel. I hate to draw, guys, you know this.
I still have a TRUCKLOAD of AI art that hasn't been uploaded yet. On the creation side, I'm going to try to wind down the collection of character images. I won't have pics of every single character I've ever made; no humans, robots, Zeti or other non-Mobians will be generated. I will however create art of nearly every major GeneX and BIT Squad character, most alternate forms, and lots and lots of smut... but not every character will get lewd pics.
Some characters likely to never get art include half of the Tikal-era characters, characters with laughably minor roles like Rick the Gargoyle and Icarus the Griffin, Shatterverse versions of characters (though I may do a couple if I revisit their worlds), and some GeneX-ified versions of existing characters like Miles, Lara-Su, the "Phantom Fighters", etc. (Sally Acorn as Virgo may be created. Pachacamac as the Darkseeker is less likely.)
...And you don't know any of this lore anyway so I just wasted both our time on that paragraph.
Well, enough of the art section. Now the Youtube section.
I fully intend to wrap up Kingdom Hearts on Youtube this year. This is the main throughline for the channel, and once it's done, I have to seriously consider the future of the channel. Growth has been very disappointing this past year, though I'm still arguably doing better on Youtube than I ever did on art sites in terms of this having only been the second year.
I feel like covering current game releases isn't really much of an option for me, so I may pivot to more retro/legacy games...which you could argue I already have. There is a big Sonic video coming out at the end of January, and I'll try to remember to let you guys know when it happens.
I may also do some discussiony Sonic videos; I mostly want to rant about the movie universe as well as Tails. I also want to do some POSITIVE discussiony videos, and the two I just mentioned may not be ENTIRELY negative... but the rant is what Youtube viewers will show up for. Talking about what I like about things just won't be very interesting. But I want to try at some point, anyway.
I'll be doing some Smash Bros. videos after January. It's going to basically be me unlocking all the characters in Ultimate WITHOUT the use of Adventure Mode. I don't know how interesting that'll be to people, but I kinda just feel like doing it. Otherwise, I'm going to try to let the audience dictate what games I play to completion, if any.
I may also attempt more livestreams, but I don't really know. They're kinda stressful.
And those are my creative ambitions for next year, more or less. If youtube doesn't work out, I fear this may be my last year online, because my financial situation is DIRE and I can't keep playing around uselessly for much longer.
Here's hoping for a LEGENDARY 2025!
