Anyone else struggle with this?

I’ve been so stuck trying to find the right Python dev for my new app. I’ve looked at a ton of profiles, but it's hard to know who can really deliver. Some have great portfolios, but you never really know until you start working together. And I don’t have the time to waste if it’s not the right fit. It’s just so frustrating. Anyone else struggle with this? How did you manage to find someone reliable?
