Private vs. Group Sailing Charters

Hi all! I’ve been debating whether to book a private sailing charter or just join a group tour for an upcoming vacation. I like the idea of a private trip because it sounds more relaxing, but I’m not sure if it’s worth the extra cost.

For those of you who’ve done both, what’s your take? Are private charters really that much better? And if so, do you have any recommendations for companies? I’m open to locations but leaning towards something in Cabo or nearby.

Hey! Great question. I’ve done both group and private charters, and honestly, private is worth every penny—especially if you value peace and flexibility. Totally agree—private charters sound like such a better option for a more relaxing vibe. I’ve only done group tours before, but they can get hectic and a bit impersonal. Thanks for the recommendation!
