I didn't feel like doing "real work" today, so I amused myself by doing MATH!
I looked through my gallery and determined my top 20 most popular OCs by averaging their favs. They needed at least 1 image or image set with 10 favs or more to qualify, and I did 2 averages, one being for Ai art only, and the other including my own shitty art in the totals.
So, how'd it go? First, let's see the top 20 based on their highest fav'd image/set...

3rd - Fera / Zeke - 14
5th - Heather - 13
6th - Castor / Violet / Rainbow / Copterette / Vixy / Chet - 12
12th - Bucky / Carrie / Katie / Dusk - 11
16th - Daisy / Anubis / Whisk / Copter / FemPunchy - 10
Somehow I doubt half of these characters are really liked enough to deserve to be on this ranking, but, well... obviously this system is flawed. And we'll see how it's flawed as we watch certain characters shoot up the rankings...

All things considered, I think Gemini & Fera are the actual most "popular." (We are using the term "popular" loosely of course.) Copter would likely be doing a lot better if I held some kind of poll or something. Castor, Katie, Anubis and Bucky probably don't deserve to be on the list at all, but these 20 OCs are actually the only ones of mine to reach 10 favs in any solo posts.
2BIT was excluded from the rankings, too, though. Most of his Ai posts had multiple characters, and non-Ai art generally doesn't do well in my gallery, making it kind of unfair to count those. (A couple characters got zeroes in that last ranking.)
Well, this is just a momentary snapshot anyway. More art will come, and will inevitably make this ranking outdated.
I might take some of this to heart, though. I dunno. You got any thoughts? Anyone you think belonged on the ranking that wasn't, or deserved to rank higher? And if you don't know any of my OCs, well... why are you reading this to begin with? ^^;
