Was NOT the kind of interview I was expecting. I mean, they did say technical interview. I honestly was not expecting for them to have me do, well, worky things. When I got there, the first thing they had me do was create and compile a program from Notepad. It was surprising to say the least, but all in all, not too bad. Took me a bit of time since I never wrote a program before. And then, with little to almost no hints, I also had to modify the program to become something else. I didn't know what they were expecting with the time, however. I finished in about...mmm...an hour, maybe. Whereas the person next to me seemed not to know much about what he was doing. So it probably made me look smarter in comparison. I had 4 assessment questions right after that, probably passed that with flying colors, too.
But yeah, wasn't too bad. I have a phone interview tomorrow. So that hopefully won't be too bad. Especially with how everything seems pretty laid back there. So much so, I was the only one in a suit. Either way, wasn't all too bad. So it seems this paid internship is guaranteed for me. 150 bucks a week for a couple months, and depending on how well I do...gets even more.
So yeah. Feeling good about this. Seems that all is going totally according to plan. :3
