For me it wasn't friendly, they deleted my cub posts and warmed me that are against their terms.

blusky is not a friendly place nore is it an alternative for twitter it is literaly just twitter but run by marxists who LEFT twitter when it became X XD

half the posts on there are bitching about twitter/x they crashed the sites report feature a while back becouse So meny accounts were reporting one another it was just a self devouring wank fest.. I would stay well clear at least untill it stabilizes.

it's not a lie XD

they at one point very recently were dealing with an absurd volume of abuse reports that completely clogged up there ticket system XD

And it IS run by people who fucled off from twitter, ive read there rules it's far more restrictive then twitter/x and they do not in fact tolerate cub or any kind of underaged artwork far as I can tell.

Blusky is a friendly open minded space that supports freedom of speach and expression, rune by X twitter devs who decided they liked the model but wanted to Do something even more open and create a digital space for shareing information and artwork or just cunnecting with people globally. Also they wont hold any kind of political biase. Not even a little one...

It's not a cub friendly place...or a loli/shota friendly place. wich is what he was asking about. Twitter/x hasn't been super friendly about it lately either though so...who knows maybe something better will come along.

Maybe it's not a lie? and I'm simply misinformed? but this just comes off as you being mad. Anybody is free to Use Blusky if they please and I am free to express my opinion about the platform, and my perceptions about it.

I dont actualy KNOW the stance of each individual developer hwo could I? but there polacies are anti free speach and rooted in things that are not new...there the same old evils we've seen over and over.

the fact remains that everything I said about bluesky being basicly just twitter for leftists and that they dont allow cub content is true...and i suppose theres absolutely nothing wrong with that, if thats what your looking for. I'll avoid it however I dont find the platform has enough free speech protections and they dont support the media I would enjoy. *shrugs*

An important distinction is that it wasn't set up to be for "leftists". It was set up by folks who left Twitter who wanted to basically recreate Twitter before it had a crappy algorithm, ads, and other junk added to it; it just started attracting people who didn't like the increasing fascism, bots, and Elon Musk of Twitter. That's very different than sites like Truth or Parler that were set up to be ultra-right-wing Twitter alternatives.

I avoid those as well becouse there also to much of an echo chamber but I still feel blusky is a bit to heavaly moderated for a platform about talking! XD

I do commend them on there choice to avoid an algorithm though. I know why most sites use one but it's not allways a good thing

Bluesky immediately banned Harmarist without a second thought yet on Twitter/X he's still up and running. Shows me all I need to know about how freedom of expression and creativity is valued there. Yes Twitter/X is an utter dumpster fire and it doesn't have a lot of things to sing praise about but when one is honest with its dues the platform at least allows a more diverse creative environment. Hopefully Bluesky can learn from its mistakes and embrace the creative community in its entirety but right now it is less free and open than Twitter/X. Which isn't even that free and open in of itself. All that being said I am on both platforms in hopes that we may one day have a truly diverse set of options in which to share and express our thoughts, ideas, desires, and art. The world is a better place when there are areas one may lend an ear and listen. The more the merrier as the saying goes.

that actually got me thinking earlier this morning before i got some sleep. they said a lot of those reports had to do with cp content and now you guys are saying bluesky isn't a good place for cub/shota/loli content.

i'm just guessing but would my assumption that this means a LOT of the "refugees" that fled to bluesky from twitter are "anti's" (as in the anti-pedo's who treat drawings of fictional characters the exact same as irl cp) hold any water?

i suppose time will tell if bluesky starts going the mastodon route with a flood of accounts linking to irl cp (largely telegram links) but this reduction of (and i did a bit of browsing myself at the time too and there's some but not much of such content on bluesky and the site already has some early signs of irl pedos. tags like pxdomom and pxdeowhore as well as blatant bait pics with lots of text requesting shota/loli content) cub/shota/loli content and addition of such tags and pics makes me wonder what people have fled there...

if i'm right and it was the twitter anti's, bluesky's staff have a seriously bad problem brewing that they need to take care of ASAP. because pretty much every single one of those anti's is an irl pedophile and/or has an interest in such content and them treating cub/shota/loli content as if it's irl cp is probably the #1 tell those people have.

Bluesky is not terribly cub friendly. They are still working out their systems to hide explicit art and haven’t introduced locked/AD accounts yet. Moderation is spotty but YMMV.

From what I can tell blue sky is all about being politically correct.
Unlike twitter if you've experienced vaccine side effects you are not allowed to talk about it on blue sky.

Wow wee there's some comments here....

For my two cents, I'm enjoying Bluesky, it's been very pleasant. It's not particularly algorithm based, so what you see is heavily dependent on who you follow (it's very Tumblr esque in that way), which I like a lot, but I can understand why others wouldn't. That said, it is definitely not cub art friendly... Alas 😔 so I'm only posting heavily cropped art on it lol

Thank you for posting your positive experience i feel its not all bad over there even if my own perspectives less rosy XD a difference of perspectives is usefull, and seeing the negative comments some might not share that perspective or do so aggressively. I wish blusky was cub friendly and less political, but I will admit it has an interesting layout and some realy nice freatures.
