Liminal Lust's in its first week has received far more attention and support than I dared to expect. I genuinely thought the game would be lucky to even reach just 100 downloads by now. I'm still baffled by how much attention it received and in such a short time but its been a month now since I released the game and made two updates for it.
For its first week, I worked hard to address the biggest criticisms (letting you speed through dialogue by holding down ctrl, adding a pause menu, not having all of your nanites taken away when making a mistake etc..) and I also made existing anomalies much more varied and interesting in Liminal Lust's first update. However, it didn't come with any new sex content because I was rushing to address the things that were frustrating for players. So to make up for that, the second update came with 4 new sex scenes (one of which is triggered by an anomaly) even though that update was audio-themed.
There's still some unaddressed criticism of certain things I agree with and plan on getting around to. There's also many areas the game can be improved in. So I'm keeping an internal roadmap where each update will stick to a certain theme while also adding at least one new sex scene. I don't want to promise anything specific but that's the general development plan.
I'm currently developing the next update but I'm also trying to take it easy and focus a bit on my person life too. Perhaps I'll mix it up a little and do some simple art commissions as a way to take breaks from working on the game so much.
