Alright, so we've conferred with a couple of friends in Leftpondia, and we've been forced to conclude that we won't be welcome in Europe anymore and that we'd better just get over the pond.
Even though we don't like to fly, and we'd have to discard a lot of our luggage, there's a possibility if we manage to raise $5k for plane tickets, accomodation, etc. Once we set foot on Canadian soil, it'll be our problem (i.e. we'll file for asylum, with NK as the principal applicant, and then do the dance to get a work permit etc.). This will be a *lot* cheaper than waiting for the next boat in /any/ form of housing.
There's also the issue of us being on the street tomorrow; we're trying to find ways to avert this. (If the $5k is raised promptly this is of course not an issue.)
So, folks, if you'll follow the URL to our existing crowdfunding page and raise ~$5k, the whining and desperate pleas are bound to stop.
