Absolutely Batsh-t Idea Incoming...

Okay...I kinda have a weird idea that has resulted from me shoving my hyperfixations into a blender. Honestly, literally nobody on Tumblr or the IZ Discord group I'm in liked it or even left any sort of critique, so it's probably a stupid idea...But I'll post it here to see what you all think. Maybe it's not too stupid.

"Basically, imagine, if you will, Irk back in its ancient days. Like, thousands, perhaps millions of years before the Empire.

Now imagine a group of Irkens clad in striped, ruby-red cloaks that conceal their legs and face, leaving only the eyes showing. Each member is holding a curved staff with a ruby-red bulb on the end, all except the Leader whose staff is longer and has larger bulb. The Leader is holding what looks to be an ancient tome as she leads the group down into a winding underground cave, the faint light from her staff leading the way. She opens an underground door and the group enters a tomb of sorts.

The back wall is adorned with paintings of the Irken insignia, albeit more distorted and monstrous, surrounded by small Irken-esc figures with their arms up in reverence. The atmosphere is foreboding and eeriely quiet say for the group's footsteps and whispers.

This group is in the underground tomb, chanting ancient spells and words of reverence in Irken. Some are blowing into Irken flutes, and others are playing their handheld Irken drums. They appear to be giving praise to whatever thing the distorted insignia depicts. The Leader is reciting words from an ancient Irken tome as this goes on. The bulbs on the groups' staffs begin to glow a bright ruby-red as the group performs this ancient ritual. The group is empowered by whatever entity they are showing reverence to.

Yep, if you couldn't tell by now, this is an Irken cult. One that predates the Irken Empire, possibly arising around the same time Irken civilization began.

Now, imagine that this ancient cult was disbanded and the ancient tomb was sealed away along with the ancient tome. The ancient spells, rituals, and words of reverence to that creature had all been long forgotten, wiped from Irk's history. That is, until some Irken builders uncover the millennias-old tomb while expanding one of their maintenance tunnels and finding the hidden cavern it's located in.

Research begins on the ancient tomb, trying to find a way to open it. These endeavors prove fruitless until a certain someone (young scientist Zim) finds what looks to be an ancient artifact that fits perfectly in the divet of the ancient door. They bring the tome back for research, analyzing the ancient Irken words.

However, the research team begins to gradually show signs of psychosis after this door is opened, having strange dreams of that creature speaking to them about the location of the key that unlocks another door in the tomb. Their minds and PAKs are taken over by this creature.

So, things begin to cascade as the now-rogue researchers locate the object. Try as the Armada and even Tallest Miyuki herself might try and stop them, it's too late. There's no turning back.

The young scientist enters the hidden room with another door and inserts into that divet....

The ancient Irken eldritch horror has been awakened and freed from his prison, now free to wreak havoc upon the Multiverse and assimilate entire universes' worth of souls into the eldritch empire within itself. The ancient cult starts back up again, now stronger than ever as it expands its reach to Vort, Meekrob, and Earth until every last soul bows in reverence to it.

Those that resisted were located by the omnipotent eldritch being and snitched on to the cult. The cult would often cull (kill) the individuals in the resistance by sacrificing them to the creature, though sometimes they would be ordered to try and get the resisting individuals to join their cause. Their methods of recruitment varied amongst sectors, with some members taping pamphlets to doors or sticking them in people's mailboxes like some sort of eldritch Jehovah's witnesses. The creature would have the cult use many tactics, ranging from the pamphlets, TV shows, online videos, and even a children's pizzeria.

Perhaps this creature and its cult are reflections of the imperialistic Irken race itself. A twisted, deformed abomination whose appearance and actions reflect the seedy underbelly of the Irken Empire. A corrupted, twisted being that represents what the Empire truly is: An insatiable monster out for blood. Nobody knows for certain.

All that is known is that after being forgotten and sealed away for billions upon billions of years, Mizredavni (or whatever the f-ck its name is) is going to show the Multiverse why some secrets should stay hidden..."

So yeah...This might be a stupid idea. Like I said, I don't think anyone will really like it.  Then again, it's probably a Warnock's dilemma thing going on in which there are many reasons it doesn't catch on, and being bad isn't one of them. I do want to incorporate more stuff into this abomination so it's not just an "IZ x Lovecraftian Lore" crossover. I think I'll just name the creature by typing random vowels and stuff on the keyboard or just call it [REDACTED]. I'm just posting this here just to see what you all think. :/
