LOL! No, you don't understand, it's never been 100% verified that Hitler was killed, because he's an eternal vampire who has plastic surgery every 50 years to stay under the radar. If you watch the podcast OF COURSE HE'S NOT ACTUALLY LITERALLY HITLER! What people mean by that is that he, in many ways, acts and talks the way megalomaniacs and totalitarians act and talk, the comparison to Hitler being because Hitler is the most current and well known megalomaniac.
Look, the issues are:
A) He ran on a platform of extreme xenophobia, a common symptom of a scared, desperate society that's ready to believe anything and follow even the devil himself to ruin,
B) He's a Republican, a member of a party that despite 1st Amendment promises, has fully entwined a heretic religion with politics, religion being used as a tool by oppressive societies for centuries,
C) That party is now in control of two branches of a three branch government, is in half control the third branch, and may yet gain complete control of it,
D) The leaders of that heretic religion has twisted its teachings to create strong feelings of hate against the LGBTQIA+ community, which quite a number of members of this community are a part of,
E) Many of the Republicans that are now going to be in near complete control of the government are also members of a powerful think tank who have come up with strategies to make laws that go back to 17th century Catholic standards, such as making pre/extramarital sex illegal, banning pornography, then declaring everything Gay and/or Transgender pornographic
F) Many Republicans have also expressed a desire to not only preempt state abilities to maintain even reasonable abortion laws, but also institute a federal ban on ALL FORMS OF BIRTH CONTROL, and
G) They also want to preempt state control over alcohol and marijuana
This is just a sample of the things that are bothering Americans right now, and when the desire to have absolute control over so many things that affect individual lives, combined with the xenophobia being displayed, which one can also make a correlation between Hitler blaming the Jewish community for Germany's problems, and The Republicans blaming Hispanic immigrants for the US's problems, the Republican party also emphasizing that they're for the worker (they're not) can all be compared to The Third Reich.
So yes, we are all 100% aware that Trump is not actually literally Hitler, but there are still enough correlations between what Hitler accomplished, and Trump wants to accomplish to prompt us to make the comparison. Also, Trump has already been in office once, and his main priority was to tear down everything that Obama built, including protections for minority communities, and there are zero indicators that this time will be any different
Oh, The Republicans also want to slash funding to all social services, including Social Security for the elderly, Medicare/Medicaid, Welfare, Unemployment, and the Veteran's Administration to funnel more money into the armed services, law enforcement, and prisons
Also, Trump can definitely be blamed for a lot of the inflation, because one of the last things he did before leaving office was negotiate a deal between OPEC Nations and Russia to stop oil production and mothball most of their fields, we were told that it was a great move that kept America's oil industry strong, unfortunately, once the economy started moving again, it took months for that production to ramp up again, and the shortages of oil and gas fueled inflation for many more month afterwards
