Burning ballot boxes, electioneering, disbarment, voter fraud, physical assault, and Russian assets? Oh my. All the months, weeks, days, etc. leading up to today have been interesting for sure. With so many people surrounding Trump having their lives (deservedly) upended, there's hope we can say good riddance to bad trash once and for all. It's odd how such a race can still be as close as it is. It would be like if the world championship finals were between Wugtrio Mill and Regidrago Vstar. There's probably a better way to put it but I'm trying to make the scenario as unrealistic as possible.
Since I live in Florida, it's difficult to say if my vote will make that much of a difference in a rigged game. Still, I can't quite reconcile why something that allegedly has no power would have people in power try so hard to suppress it, buy it, or just make purposefully inconvenient. Of course, I'm still exercising that ability while I can regardless of the outcome.
If we so happen to have Komala as president, I suspect that we'll go on as per usual. Granted, we'll have lots of coping & seething along with the possibility of coup d'état 2: electric boogaloo. That's why I would've preferred he get jailed asap so we could get the civil unrest out of the way. Anyway, while hopefully there won't be a major status quo change for that outcome, that means we shouldn't get complacent and keep the good fight going. Now if we end up with Donald again, one can hope little will change but Project 2025 and his comments don't inspire much hope. There's the distinct possibility that the executive brach will over extend its power and that the cabinrt positions will be full of sycophants. There's also the possibility that this will be the last election we ever vote in before this country devolves into the dictatorships the CIA helped install in Latin America and beyond. Worst of all, maybe the userbase of this site and other porn sites will be targeted. Finally, if Trump croaks desite having access to care we commoners wouldn't, we then have to contend with alleged couch fucker JD Vance as president. That will mean we have to fight harder than ever even if it means revolution.
I'm maintaining a cautious, but also revolutionary, optimism about this. While 2016 has blindsided us quite a bit, 2020 was quite a comeback story. Granted, the outcome was far from ideal but the domino effect on Trump and his cronies has been crazy to watch. And if the domino effect continues with a 2nd Trump defeat, then hopefully that means the GQP can never secure power again even in a rigged system. It's gonna be a tough one for sure. If anyone offers to pack my bags, then y'all better offer to secure the funds for renouncing a citizenship and visa too. With that in mind, I've got an end of the world party coming up so whenever I remember, I'll update when the results have come in.
