Like, am I the weird one? I've seen soo many OCs who's empress reason for existing is to suffer. Like they ONLY exist to be the character on the reserving end of everything from rape to beatings to emotional abuse to every other bad thing you can think of.
I get it if that's your kink and you want a character to use for it, i don't judge, but man. As someone who gets attached to characters and OCs it just kinda kills it for me. There's several characters I want to love, but I only see them being abused and suffer, and it just feels shitty.
Okay, venting over, just wanted to say this somewhere.
