Not furry related, but I've been learning Japanese for the past few years. I do love the Kemono circle and already follow many artists.
I decided to see a movie that is still censored in its original country to this day.
It has three main names that differ in meaning between the languages:
愛のコリーダ
L'Empire des sens
In the Realm of the Senses
The movie is infamous for graphic real sex throughout and is loosely based on a true story. The filmmakers had to develop and edit the footage in France to bypass censorship laws. The current way it can be seen in Japan has pixelation.
I saw the Criterion cut on Amazon. It is unedited, like the French one.
I'm curious to know if anyone else has seen this unique film.
