Pixiv is back on active status, yet the future remains uncertain. The constant change on the terms of service keeps us western users guessing.

K, seriously now. Pixiv is back but it seems we need to be extra careful with Japanese censorship now. I remember back in 2007 when the internet was in its wild west era, I used to think Japanese censorship wouldn't last another 10 years. 17 years later, it's still there, and not only that, censorship has only grown stronger and stronger all across the world, not only in Japan, especially on former British colonies (Except the USA... For now).
I want to keep going and keep improving, but I keep worrying about the future, not just because of the growing censorship, but because it took me 12 years to break my mental barriers and get the determination to start taking the drawing thing more seriously. I fear that if I stop, I might go into a 5 year hiatus and lose all progress, not that I've made much, but it's something. And I don't have many 5 year periods left. I worry that I started too late. But maybe that's a good thing, with age comes wisdom, or so they say.
For now, there has been no serious relapses into procrastination, and I hope it stays that way.
