Hey it's been a while since I did a journal. So I was thinking about some stuff so I'll put it out there for the friends.
My username: Flamesnow. It's an alright name, but I've been thinking about going back to my older username: Coldclaws. I never really gave it up in the first place, I still have it listed on my profiles and stuff, but I think I've changed to Flamesnow my primary accounts that used that name by now. Coldclaws has sentimental value and it just feels nice, so I may go back to using that one more prominently. There's lots of meanings behind both names and why I chose them, personal to me, as is with all of our usernames.
One thing that bugged me about Flamesnow is that apparently there's some comic book villain called Snowflame who's fueled by cocaine or somethin and that's goofy enough to make me think twice. Haha.
Well, I probably won't change my current account names right away, but moving forward, any new accounts I may make might be under the Coldclaws name. I think I may go with a new signature for my art as well. All in all, not a big deal for anyone else.
Some things tanking my mood though: the upcoming election for the USA making people go into complete tribal mode, I can't wait until its gone and done. I don't need to say anything more about that.
I've been in the furry community for a pretty long time and every passing day there are more creators just shutting down, wiping everything or becoming unreachable. Whatever reasons are behind such drastic actions, it always brings a frown to my face. Not that it's a personal loss, because I'm not close friends with artists that I like, but the small amount of enjoyment they brought can be yanked away at any time.
