Yay Vet Bills -_-

Well our pup is back to the vets office cause he was still being lethargic, not wanting to eat or drink nor walk much unless really pushed to get up so had to take him back to the vets office. They got him in and they ran some blood work and his SDMA level is high and a few others that wasn't too scary to the vet but still a worry but ATM the vet tech is the one who took him in and ran the blood work and sent results to vet and then called and told her and she then told us. So our original bill for his surgery and meds and 2 night stay before this was $2300 USD and now its going to just go up -_- only good thing is that they are willing to work with us on the bill and let us do payments for this but still a hard expense to get and recuperate from.

(Info from beginning: Our puppy (4yo) decided to get a hold of a rag and swallow it and it ended up getting stuck in his intestines. Last week almost at the end of the week he wasn't doing good so took him to a local vet (at the time didn't know him but think he is one that tries to do the least evasive and least amount of meds on the pet/animal/kid because of potential risks involved for them) who did x-rays and palpated his stomach and didn't feel any blockage but kept him at his office for 2 nights gave us an antibiotic and some nausea meds for him ($270 USD for this visit), he was ok-ish on the weekend but Monday wasn't improving so took him to the normal vet we go to (farther now since we moved) and they took x-rays but gave him a dye to look for possible blockage and sure enough found it and so they ended up doing surgery the next day and he had to have 4-6 inches of his intestine removed due to necrosis. He spent another 2 nights due to waiting on improvements and when he did come home he seemed better was trying to jump on my mate which she tried to keep him down and ate some chicken not much but some which was to be expected and did drink some water. Fast forward to today he became lethargic (is how I can explain it) sleeping a lot but not wanting to eat or drink nothing so had to force feed in a sense with a syringe and was having to be basically lifted off his bed to get up and move. So had to take him back to the vets which they had to start an IV, bloodwork, etc. and we wont know until mid morning early evening tomorrow. Gawd I wish things weren't so darn expensive.
