I need to take a while to recuperate, both as Appelknekten and in private.
To put it short, I am burnt out. You have probably noticed that most art I've posted for the last 2 years have been commissions. That's because I don't have much energy to work on personal stuff any more. You may also have noticed that my posts have been pretty infrequent for a while now. The truth is, I have struggled with my commissions, and tahat has left people waiting for months to get the art they paid for.
This needs to change. I need a bit of change.
So, what happens now? I won't be taking any more commissions for a while, probably not for the rest of the year. I am going to take some time to focus on my personal life and work. This wil include taking some time to do more personal art and give myself a chance to fall back in love with my hobby.
I want to do more art of my OCs, fan art, gift art, and I want to be open to art trades and requests again. I'll also resume streaming just for the fun of it. It's been a very long time since I could allow myself to be a hobby artist. I am looking forward to this break and I hope you'll still be here to share this journey with me.
