Due to paying for rent, food and Lyft rides to/from work as well as fighting the apartment leasing agent over getting my lease signed, I forgot about the payment for my storage unit paying rent for my new apartment which I just signed the lease Friday, making me officially homed. I was informed by the storage unit company that I have until the 24th to pay $400 or I lose all of my furniture and household items stored in a storage unit in an auction. I am just over two months behind after paying $500 of the $900 past due ($150/mo plus late and administrative fees). The $500 I used was supposed to go for a car, but I had to use that for the storage unit. Sadly the $500 payment is not enough to clear the balance to keep the unit out of auction unless I can pay the remaining $400.
If anyone can help, my PayPal is: Johnny_yuma1965@hotmail.com and my Kofi: https://ko-fi.com/1766K2U623ABT and my cash app: $Ainoko if anyone is willing and able to help with the funds to save my storage unit, I'll be grateful. I need most of what's in the storage unit (furniture, cookware, dinnerware, flatware, cooking utensils, main PC, and clothing). If I can get the monies, I will have 30 days to empty the unit of what I need for my apartment. Just as an FYI, my rent with a roommate is $1800/mo all bills paid. Edit to add that there is some antique furniture in the storage unit that I can't afford to lose, 60 year old Black Forrest coffee table set given to me by my deceased grandmother

How much is still needed? I get my funds in the morning and am luckily in an advanced position on my bills. I've been in the same position before and not happy to watch someone else go thru the same thing. Return can be discussed later. I will poke in here in approximately 12 hours from this post, which would be approximately when my funds arrive.

Holy crap - that's an expensive storage place - that or you've got a huge unit.
Cant help but wonder if it would have been cheaper to have just used the $900 to hit the local thrift store to replace the furniture and household items?

Not wanting to lose a three piece glass top, hand carved Black Forrest coffee table set that is a least 60 years old only to be killed by my mom should I lose it.
The unit is a 10X16 that I was living in until I got into my current place, which the monthly was $95. The $400 consists of the remaining three months past due, late and administrative fees. Once the past due is paid, I am going to be moving as much as I can to the new apartment and work on keeping the roommate's two felines out of my stuff

Sadly my parents are 450 miles away and I have no car. Though I did tell them that if their doctors say that they no longer allowed to drive due to their age (mom is 80 and dad is 83) and health and vision, am laying claim to either the pickup or Kia

Goodness, wish I could help again. I remember when I came over to check out the airsoft way WAY back. Gosh, over a decade ago now I believe. I moved to East Texas, Mount Pleasant area now, so its a bit longer of a trip. As for funds, I am dry up, just finished my Bachelor's of Business, so I am all in debt now, no full time job, and my part time gives me a wonderful $150 a month.
