I’m putting up this post on hoping to get some advice on what should I do but also to vent as well. Just recently got arrested I was just got released few hours ago. It’ll all happen when I got into an argument with someone who unfortunately I’ve known since middle school which then lead to a fight. The bastard throw a punch at me when I called bullshit to him on all the lies he kept in telling to his kid, lies like how he tells his kid is gonna buy him something but never does, tells him he’s always been a fan of anime and comics, saying horrible things about his kid’s mother (Who’s a good friend of mine) and worst of all Telling his kid that he has never bullied anyone before in his life. Hearing that I just called him out saying that he’s nothing more than a liar and it is so low of him to lie to his own kid.
I know personally from our time at school that he hated anime, cartoons, and comic books, saying it was all for losers and idiots. The kid’s mother Was nothing that he said, she is a kind and caring mother that just has bad taste in men. But the crap that he said that he Never bullied anyone just made me snap. He picked on lots of People physically and mentally. I should know, he used to bully me, but I fought back, Physically with my fist so he was back off And leave me alone. Otherwise, I told him that it would be fun, kicking his ass.
When I called out his bullshit lies he must’ve felt embarrassed in front of his own kid so then he basically punches me in the Shoulder, but I got him back by punching him in the stomach and then Yelled at him to leave. My God did it feel so good punching that Asshole. Unfortunately, the next day I had a policeman coming to my store and arrest me for an assault charge. I told them that it was self-defense and that he threw the first punch at me, but it seems that they didn’t listen and just took me away anyways. I spent several days in a holding cell until finally I was released when my business partner showed them the video footage of what happened between me and that asshole. Even though I’m cleared, I feel so violated that I was taken to jail and the police were not willing to hear my side. So now I’m thinking I should sue that asshole for wrongful assessment and damage of property. let him know that even after all these years, you still don’t fuck with me. But I’m wondering if I should take action against the policeman as well. What do you guys think? What should I do?
