Now my google chat is cut off

My google chat stopped working this morning and after I did everything that was recommended to fix it (thinking it was a computer error) I went to their community service forum. A person said to go to the chats link. I did and I learned that my chat was shut down. I don't recall receiving any warnings although I received a lot of notices that I received 67 complaints about my email address, but the return address was in russia so I assumed it was a scam attempt. I am guessing that I offended dozens of people trying to scam me out of money from a dating site and because I blocked them all, I assume they complained about me. I did submit an appeal but they may take up to two days. I really hate people more than ever.

I don't even know what Google Chat is, but it's always a good idea to try to keep something in your pocket to keep yourself independent from the services of any of these mega corporations. They will not take any responsibility for failure.

It's funny how others can cause trouble for people that didn't do anything but block them and the company doesn't even ask their side of it... The problem here is that I use chats for those who don't want to sign up for any other instant messaging service.

I recommend switching to something like proton mail to get away from dealing with google and the scammers.

next if you are looking something people don't need to sign up for look into something like Bitmessage, Tox, or Briar. they are peer to peer, run though tor, and offer end to end encryption. Basically just you and whoever you are talking to can see what is being said. the caveat is that if they are tech savvy they can find your IP and find out where you are.

if you have folks who are willing to sign up for stuff, telegram(for the time being) is fairly popular with furrys, so a good number won't need to sign up. it offers both group chats, and channels where you can post just your content and members can see it. Discord also is popular, however discord does have a lot of leaks, and your server can be purged at anytime if it violates discord rules or if enough people report it.

if you want something more secure, wire & signal are decent platforms

Is telegram for PC? I work from a PC, most services that allow picture transfer seem to favor iphone use.

Telegram is multi-platform and does work for PC and Mobile.
better yet it can be used to transfer files between the two in a private self-chat called "saved messages"
it also does not have any upload file size limits im aware of.

I just received a notice from Google that chat was restored. I'll see if this is so.

It is restored. Google said I was in compliance and restored it immediately. I would really like to know why I was cut off in the first place but their messages were no-reply.

Just some days ago, I got a msg in Whatsapp about my account getting ban; I don't even use it more than for family, without groups. I solicited restore and it got fixed in three minutes. I tried to get data from the account if the ip or something appears and could give me some clue about what happened, but it is completely empty. My account was protected with the double protection (PIN) . I don't know what is happening but is everything around getting attacked... some people I know is getting a lot of scam SMS also...
